Our nurse to elder ratio is 1:24. The CNAs take care of the elders by cooking food, cleaning rooms and kitchen, assisting with activities, and providing cares. # ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS # Provide direct patient care, including administering medication, wound care, and monitoring vital signs. Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures, medications, and self-care techniques. Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records.     Incumbents in this role provide the highest level of expertise in their respective area of focus. They are responsible for understanding and developing new test methodologies and analyzing current practices to ensure the best clinical practice to the patient populations served, while maintaining appropriate cost controls. This position has four main focuses: 1. Data analysis and interpretation, relative to the hospital clinical practice, 2. Study design and data interpretation relative to the research done in the department, 3. Acting as a consultant to discipline-specific personnel, Intermountain physicians, the Utah Department of Health, and other Intermountain committees, and 4. Initiation of approved independent research projects. Failure to obtain a BSN degree within this time frame may result in suspension or termination of employment. Nurses employed by the Hospital on or before September 1, 2014 with only an ASN/ADN, will be exempt from the requirement to obtain a BSN. Any nurse hired by the hospital from September 2, 2014 through April 15, 2019 will have 5 years / 60 months from date of hire to obtain a BSN. Any nurse who takes legally protected leave during any of the completion periods may have the period extended by a comparable amount of time. Current State of Montana Registered Nurse License BLS Certification upon hire. ACLS required within 9 months of hire PALS required within 9 months of hire TNCC or TCAR within 12 months of transfer or hire. Must maintain TNCC/TCAR or an equivalent that is recognized by the American College of Surgeons.
