Shermco Industries is seeking an Inside Sales Representative. Our Sales and Marketing team is seeking an entrepreneurial, results oriented Inside Sales Representative to help shape our growing Midcentral Region. Reporting to the Sales Operations & Marketing division, the ISR will play a crucial role in driving our growth by identifying and nurturing potential clients through proactive outreach. This role involves conducting outbound calls, emails, and other forms of communication to generate new business opportunities and support the company's sales objectives. The Inside Sales Representative will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute lead generation strategies, ensuring a steady pipeline of quality leads. Ideally we want this person in Houston, TX but we will consider someone in Minneapolis, MN or Cedar Rapids, IA or Detroit, MI. You can work remotely from any of these locations.
Responsibilities
Identify target accounts, projects, contacts, and facilities to support regional branch strategies.
Generate qualified leads for Territory Account Managers through marketing campaigns and projects tracking.
Utilize historical and market data to identify ideal customer profiles.
Participate in cross-functional team meetings and sales meetings to foster team collaboration.
Serve as a secondary point of contact for customers.
Conduct outbound calls and emails to generate new business opportunities.
Develop and maintain a pipeline of quality sales leads.
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to execute lead generation campaigns.
Utilize CRM systems to organize and maintain accurate lead information.
Qualify website and phone inquiries to gather customer insights for Territory Account Managers.
Continuously learn Shermco's services to craft value proposition messages.
Coordinate and host meetings between clients and Territory Account Managers to understand customer needs and develop sales skills.
Qualifications
1-2+ years of relevant experience in inside sales, marketing, or lead generation ideally selling to industrial end markets and contractors or to industries like oil & gas, chemical, data center, semiconductor, utilities or manufacturing, etc.
Proven track record in market analysis and leveraging data for lead generation campaigns.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, analytics, business, engineering, or related fields preferred but not required
Comfortable contacting prospects (cold calling) via phone calls or other channels, adhering to the planned outreach schedule.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The Field Service Technician is primarily responsible for scheduled and remedial (break-fix) service on Small to Medium UPS, Power Distribution Units & Battery system products (2-120KVA) serviced by Vertiv, commensurate with appropriate classroom and on-the-job training. What You Will Do
As an Electrical Engineer, you will collaborate in a team environment to design and support industrial electrical systems, which includes various types of equipment new and old. Specific responsibilities include:

Responsibilities Job Responsibilities and Expectations:
Installation, commissioning, testing, and maintenance of protective relay equipment, powerline carrier equipment, digital fault recorders (DFR's), remote terminal units (RTU's), and communication processors.
Functional testing for protection and control circuitry associated with transmission lines, HV bus, transformer, circuit breaker, feeder, reactors, and capacitor banks.
RTU and telecom upgrades for various clients
Experienced with SEL microprocessor relays such as 311C, 311L, 387, 411L, 421, 487B, 487E, 487V, 587, 587Z, and 787.
Desired experienced with GE microprocessor relays such as C30, D60, F35, L90, T35 and T60.
Required experienced with various RTU's and communication processors such as GE, Telvent, SEL, Cooper, and Novatech.
Accurately reviewing, documenting, and submitting test reports used for client reporting and regulatory purposes.
Interpret one line, three line, wiring, schematic diagrams, communication configurations with ability to recognize and bring attention to discrepancies.
Accurately completes time and expense reports along with maintaining good condition of assigned company vehicle.
Qualifications Required Education/Experience:
Ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience in the electrical testing industry with a focus working with protection and control equipment, RTU's, and telecom with HV utility, co-op, power generation, federal, or municipal clients.
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Technology in similar discipline, or Technical school diploma, or military experience in either Army Prime Power or Navy Nuclear electrical program.
Experience with transmission and distribution relays to include SEL, GE, ABB, and Westinghouse.
Experience with substation RTU's, communication processors, and telecom equipment for both brownfield and greenfield projects.
Experienced with scoping, scheduling, and budgeting process for protection and control, RTU, and telecom projects for both internal and external entities.
Experience with project management of protection and control teams working in HV substations for utility clients.
Familiar with NERC CIP requirements.
Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, stand for extended periods, drive regularly, with or without reasonable accommodations
