This position is responsible for delivering products to customers from Sherwin-Williams stores using box and flat-bed trucks. Drivers ensure deliveries are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct customer. Drivers are accountable for customer satisfaction and for transporting items in a safe, timely manner. The individual selected for this role will be expected to work at Store #704306, located at: 1502 Lear Industrial Parkway, Avon, OH 44011. This is a part-time position with a hiring rate of $15.00/hr.
Job duties involve contact with customers, which may include minors; and access to cash and other payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise and other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company's customers, staff, employees, vendors, contractors, and the general public. Minimum Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future

Must have a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) from a Department of Transportation (DOT) licensed "medical examiner" listed on the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) National Registry or be willing to obtain one within five business days of receiving a conditional offer of employment

This position supports the Wheelworx segment of our business, specializing in the transportation of railcar wheelsets to customer locations and back. The driver will haul wheelsets on a flatbed trailer, ensuring each load is properly chained, strapped, and delivered safely and on time. This role is a critical link in Wheelworx's logistics operation, helping maintain efficient delivery flow and supporting our commitment to reliability and quality in the rail industry. Duties/Responsibilities:
Operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle to transport railcar wheelsets via flatbed trailer.
Properly chain, strap, and secure loads in compliance with DOT cargo securement standards.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
Adhere to FMCSA regulations, including Hours of Service (HOS) and safety procedures.

Skills/Experience Requirements:

No preventable accidents in the past 2 years (standard company policy).

Pay: $23 per hour + overtime at time and a half after 40 hours. Typically get 50-60 hours per week grossing $1,265 - $1,610 per week.
Typical Schedule:
Mostly Monday - Friday work with the full weekend off. Occasionally there are runs that may return on Saturday morning or leave out on Sunday.
2-3 overnight runs per week. Rarely have runs that put you out more than 1 night at a time.

JOB FUNCTION:
This position is responsible for operating Bailer Systems, as well as transporting trailers to and from drop sights.

Drivers ensure deliveries are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct customer. Drivers are accountable for customer satisfaction and for transporting items in a safe, timely manner. The individual selected for this role will be expected to work at Store #704372, located at: 761 Beta Drive-L, Mayfield Village, OH 44143. This is a full-time position with a hiring rate of $15.00/hr.
Job duties involve contact with customers, which may include minors; and access to cash and other payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise and other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company's customers, staff, employees, vendors, contractors, and the general public. Minimum Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License
Must have a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) from a Department of Transportation (DOT) licensed "medical examiner" listed on the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) National Registry or be willing to obtain one within five business days of receiving a conditional offer of employment
Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation
Must read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records.
Preferred Qualifications:
Have at least a High School diploma or GED
Have at least one (1) year experience working as a delivery driver
Have at least one (1) year of work experience using material handling equipment (for example: forklifts (stand and sit), pallet jacks, hand trucks, order pickers, vacu-hoists, drum dollies, conveyor belts, etc.)
Have previous work experience selling paint and paint related products
Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language
Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish

Ensure deliveries are prepared to meet customer requirements in the most efficient manner
Load customer orders properly on the truck
Ensure appropriate forms are completed
Load, transport, and deliver items to customers in a safe, timely manner
Maintain the store vehicle and alert the supervisor to repair and servicing needs
Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and handle complaints from customers
Adhere to assigned routes and following time schedules
Abide by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record
Prepare reports and other documents relating to deliveries
Operate equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.
Perform other tasks in the store, including warehouse duties, tinting, and mixing customer orders and waiting on customers
