ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Actively engage with students and assist them with arrival and daily routines, remaining in their assigned areas and transitions throughout the day.
Assist teaching staff by providing direct support to the students during both individualized and group based instruction ensuring to adhere to each student's needs as outlined within their IEP goals/objectives.
Implement all classroom routines, schedules, community based instruction, lesson plans, and behavior support plans including SCM protocols and intervention procedures in line the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and as outlined by the teacher and/or BCBA.
Maintain organization of classroom furniture, supplies and materials ensuring that all are in safe and good working condition. This includes assisting with cleaning and sanitizing areas in the classroom.
Maintain appropriate engagement and participation in all scheduled meetings, trainings, work hours, etc. ensuring adherence to all attendance and tardiness policies.
Foster and promote a cooperative working climate, maximizing productivity and employee morale

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma
Experience in special education instruction

Level 1 Medication Aid (Preferred)

4D is an intermediate ICU otherwise called a Progressive Care Unit. The unit includes a 28 bed fully monitored unit. We provide high acuity care to critically ill post-operative cardiothoracic, vascular patients, and medical overflow. Common therapies seen on 4D are chest tubes management, lytic therapy, antidysrhythmic, low dose vasopressors, Bipap and high flow oxygen systems, insulin drips, and precedex. 4D works closely with Neuro Trauma PCU and ICUs for opportunities to cross train between departments. We are part of the Critical Care Cluster, which includes all ICUs and PCUs.
4D offers you the chance to deliver compassionate care in a setting that is busy, team oriented, and fulfilling. Learning opportunities are endless and team members are dedicated to mentoring. Career path programs are available to transition into ICU units with an 18-month track.
