Working experience in operating heavy equipment for earthwork, stream restoration, flood recovery, fire recovery, and AML closure projects. Must have a strong ability to interact professionally with colleagues, subcontractors, clients, and project stakeholders in the ever-changing environment of a field construction project, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. The Reclamation Site Foreman will review and execute project drawings and specifications; manage and direct junior field staff; coordinate subcontractors and suppliers; communicate frequently with the Nakupuna Companies Site Superintendent(s) and/or Project Manager(s), clients and stakeholders when on site; and remain flexible and resourceful to resolve field issues that may occur. The following reflects management's definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign additional duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons. Has strong work experience in the areas noted above, holds a trade school certification in construction management or heavy equipment operation, or has earned an associate's or bachelor's degree in construction management, sciences, engineering technician, or related field. Has minimum of two years' experience operating heavy equipment (excavator, loader, bulldozer) on earthwork projects involving one or more of the following project types: watershed restoration, AML closures, fire mitigation or restoration, water storage/conveyance improvements, site revegetation, stream hydraulic and habitat restoration, stormwater infrastructure improvements, remote roadway construction, or similar work. Familiarity with soft and hard surface trail construction and welding experience is a plus. Work Location: On-site, reports to Wheat Ridge, Colorado office. Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel 50-75% of time along the Rocky Mountain region.
