Position Summary: The Ziggi's Coffee Shift Lead is responsible for assisting the Management team in leading and overseeing all day-to-day operations of the store and running of the floor. The Shift Lead has a positive attitude, willingness to take initiative, and great communication skills. Essential Functions: Ensures the Ziggi's "Standards of Service" are always in place -exceptional customer service, excellent drink/food quality, accuracy, consistency, and speed of service. Maintains great and consistent communication with staff, managers, and store owner. Always lead by example, have strong initiative, and adhere to all Ziggi's Coffee policies and procedures. Making sure staff correctly follow all policies and procedures. Ensure registers are always stocked and balance change drawer at the end of each shift. Train new employees as well as offer continued training, support, and coaching for existing staff members to build their skills. Be comfortable making corrections when needed if an employee is not correctly following a process, recipe, or procedure. Knowledgeable in all aspects of day-to-day operations. Address any customer complaints that may arise in the absence of the General or Assistant Managers, correct the issue, and relay any incidents to their General and Assistant Managers. Can delegate the overseeing of the daily checklists and weekly cleaning extras and implementing any additional monthly deep cleaning list and assist with inventory as needed.
