RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Supervises deck activity, lifeguards, pool attendants, cashiers, and patrons.
Oversees the established aquatic programs and activities providing a high level of customer service.
Oversees the maintenance of the pool and facility, to include chemistry, cleanliness, and other related maintenance.
Participates and assists in all training sessions.
Maintains records of operational facility usage; monitors and maintains inventories of pool equipment and supplies.
Maintains and updates knowledge of current practices in Lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR, AED, and other operations. Assumes responsibility for the health and safety of the patrons.
Responds quickly and effectively to all rescue or emergency situations. Performs first aid, CPR, and AED techniques as necessary.
Responds to inquiries and requests received from patrons.
Ensures that all possible safety measures are observed, including taking proper care of equipment and conducting regular inspections.
Reports information regarding unsafe or suspicious activity including but not limited to: break-ins, accidents, chlorine levels, chlorine leaks, acid leaks, chemical problems, and all mechanical issues to the Aquatics Superintendent.
Completes Accident and Incident report forms to be turned into the Aquatic Superintendent.
Enforces pool rules and maintains discipline following department procedures and regulations.
Performs related duties as assigned by Aquatics Superintendent or Aquatics Facility Manager.

Job Summary

Job Description
A shop hourly position with the primary responsibilities of directing the activities of assigned Assembly personnel to accomplish both daily production goals and long-term projects as assigned by Team Leader. As a fully engaged servant leader, the ShiftLeader has ownership for the execution of the department's strategy and goals, and demonstrates BAC's values of Earning Trust, Embracing Responsibility, Showing Courage, and Driving Innovation. Ensures all mechanics are properly trained and performing according to BAC's safety, production, and quality standards and guidelines. Promote open communication and ensure all necessary information and clarification are provided to employees in a timely manner. The purpose for every position at BAC regardless of department or level can be summed up as doing the right thing in the right way.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Owns personal and team safety. Observes all safety rules and uses the proper safety equipment at all times.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement in the department.
Effectively coordinate manpower through flexing to achieve Assembly Line goals
Back-up Team Lead as required.
Delegates assignments to the appropriate person based on skill set and accountabilities.
Ensure open and clear communication to department employees.
Understand the complete operation of all current Assembly equipment and methods.
Assigns objectives in coordination with the Team Leader and provided quarterly feedback on the completion of objectives.
Partners with various departments (Sheet Metal, BBD, Etc.) to ensure timely delivery of materials to support the production schedule.
Safely operate jib cranes and/or overhead cranes to lift, move, and position components.
Assist the Team Lead in completion of annual reviews.
Training employees on technical proficiency and maintain skills matrix for the department.
Onboarding of new team members including assigning Buddy & Mentor and weekly follow-up.
Assist with the completion of detailed accident investigation reports.
Attuned to Daily and Weekly Production Schedule and take independent action to ensure resources, materials, and information are available to the mechanics.
Assist with the completion of detailed accident investigation reports for all accidents, which occur in Assembly on assigned shift.
Model and promote LEAN principles in the area and 5S excellence.
Meet or exceed production goals for shift.
Provide coverage to alternative shifts when needed in support of the operation.
Lead Toolbox and other communication meetings.
Follow ShiftLeader Standard Work.
Perform other duties as requested and assigned.
Ensure quality standards are adhered to with a focus on process discipline.
Counsel and coach employees who fail to meet quality, safety, or productivity standards.
Promote sustainability, identifying ways to proactively reducing waste, energy and water usage.
Support a culture of innovation through original thinking to improve processes, methods, systems or services; translates new ideas into business opportunities.
NATURE & SCOPE
Reports to the Team Leader or Supervisor for the department. The ShiftLeader is a part of the department leadership team and shares responsibility for the department goals and objectives. In the absence of the Team Leader, the ShiftLeader will be responsible for running the department. Additionally, the ShiftLeader may participate on cross functional and regional teams.

Demonstrated oral communication skills including the ability to communicate professionally with BAC customer and co-workers. The ability to share information verbally that is clearly understood and technically accurate.
Demonstrated understanding of the plant IPI process and CAP program.
Demonstrated ability to operate lifting devices including overhead and JIB cranes; achieved through required training and certification.
Ability to lead meetings and give presentations.
Competent at problem solving, and use of Continuous Improvement tools.
Working knowledge of computers including word processing, spreadsheets and databases, i.e., Word, Excel, Peoplesoft, Internet, and ADI.
High level of product knowledge of BAC's numerous models and parts.
Competency with MS Excel at the intermediate level including updating data and generating metrics.
Understands and adheres to LEAN principles including 5S, Gemba, and identifying 7 wastes.
Well versed in all procedures, policies, and ISO instructions to ensure product quality.
Ability to interact with engineers, provide technical information as requested, and generate engineering change requests.
