    Job Description Established in 1909, George Junior Republic (GJR) and its affiliates provide opportunities for success and wellness to the individuals, families, and communities served. In late 2025, GJR in PA will expand services to include the opening of a Juvenile Secure Detention Facility in Fayette County, PA. In order to meet the needs of the youth placed in the facility, GJR in PA is hiring three shift supervisors. Summary of the Position: The Shift Supervisor will be assigned to work 7 a.m. - 3 p.m., 3 p.m. - 11 p.m., or 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. The Shift Supervisor assumes responsibility for the operations and actions of the Behavioral Health Technicians in the unit. The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure the safety, security, and operations of the staff and persons served. Duties and Responsibilities: Supervise staff Support the oversight of treatment and programming Provide safety and security at all times Document as required per agency guidelines and standards Provide food service to persons served Engage in treatment planning and treatment team meetings Plan and coordinate daily youth activities Complete required training per policies and regulations Pass medications/oversee medication pass Follow established routine to support structure Provide safety and security when transporting youth.
