The City Center Rink is looking for a seasonal Assistant Manager position. The staff member will work under the supervision of assistant managers and will report to the City Center Manager.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

SUMMARY

Manager including, but not limited to: opening and closing the store; directing the activities of store personnel; ensuring proper adherence by store employees to agency policies and procedures, CARF standards, safety and security regulations; ensuring that all sales transactions are rung up and reported accurately; ensuring that donated goods are processed appropriately; ordering store

Employee will be required to perform bank transactions necessary to store operations, e.g. depositing daily receipts, securing rolled coins or specific denominations of bills, etc., and must have access to transportation for travel to/from designated bank.
Employee will be included on Alarm Responder Roster for assigned store/location. Must respond upon notification from alarm monitoring company, in-person, to alarm calls that occur before/after typical hours of business operations. Employee must follow established procedures for responding to an alarm call and must have access to transportation to travel to/from store at such times. Employees must provide personal telephone and/or cell phone information in order to be available to receive alarm calls and must maintain ongoing phone service. Based on employment classification, employee will be paid in accordance with Agency Policy for time spent responding to alarm calls.

The primary function of this position is to assist the Director of Food & Nutrition Services in planning, organizing, developing and directing the comprehensive operation of the dietary department. This position is responsible for training and supervising production and kitchen personnel. Following current local, state and federal guidelines and regulations, as well as established policies and procedures and assures quality food service is provided at all times. Essential Job Functions:

* Interact with other department heads in all phases of planning events, etc.
* Oversee all aspects of Slot Operations.
* Respond to all requests from Executive management team.

* Serve as department representative at all official functions and company events including committee and staff meetings.
* Analyze and make decisions concerning drop/win, percent hold, etc., on all equipment, locations and moves.
* Respond to guest correspondence, in-house projects, and all departmental dealings with regulatory bodies, including gaming commission, IRS, etc.
* Oversee all final decisions on hiring, discipline, vacations, terminations, etc., for all slot areas.
* Control and review the budget for the department.
* Conduct scheduling and handle conflicts with employees.
* Set VLT's, continuously review setting.
* Ability to trouble shoot and problem solve continuously.
* Superior communication skills.
Qualifications:
* Extensive background in accounting, administration, marketing, and operations.
* Ability to communicate easily with all levels of team members and guests.
* Ability to organize, delegate, and follow through on any number of different projects.
* Understanding and experience with the Wager system, Intelligien system and the William Ryan System as well as all Microsoft.
* Ability to clearly speak and write English, bilingual in Spanish would be beneficial.
License Requirements:
* Rhode Island Department of Business Regulations Gaming License
Physical/Mental Requirements:
* Constantly sit, stand, and walk.
* Frequently on-call 24 hours for problems, complaints, etc. as they arise.
