Job DescriptionThe Production Supervisor is a member of the plant leadership team and plays a key role in providing management and leadership to deliver business results and operational improvements. Under direction of the Business Unit Manager, the Production Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day manufacturing operations for an assigned area and shift.
Primary Responsibilities
This role has responsibility to achieve productivity, efficiency, customer service, cost, quality, safety and employee engagement objectives through both individual and team contributions. Provides direction, leadership, development and support to direct reports through empowerment, teamwork, on-the-job assignments and continuous improvement projects and initiatives. Develops, implements and promotes safety programs and safe work practices through involvement in plant safety teams, programs and initiatives. Promotes sound employee & labor relations within the department by developing and maintaining an effective organization with qualified personnel. Develops, promotes, and supports continuous improvement and other cross-functional initiatives.
Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree in Business, Food Science, Engineering or related field is preferred

Job Purpose
Responsible for supervising the efficient performance and training of staff in all phases of encoding to ensure standards of quality, statement processing and all associated activities.As a Fiserv Production Supervisor, you'll work on 2nd Shift which is 2:45 p.m. -10:45 p.m., with additional hours and weekend work required during peak periods (such as month end, quarter end and year end). We will train you on how to operate commercial size printers and inserting machine equipment, as well as how to program computer batches to load data. As a Fiserv Production Supervisor, you will carry out various tasks by coordinating through associates, striving daily to meet or exceed the projected production deadlines for our clients. You will also assist our skilled production associates with maintaining and making adjustments to production machines to ensure work accuracy. As a Fiserv Production Supervisor, you will maintain a visible presence on the production floor to observe the workflow and utilization of shift staff to complete assigned work orders for delivery.
