PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Line Associate is responsible for the disassembly of poultry and may perform a wide variety of poultry processing related tasks as they rotate on the production line.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
• Learn and perform production related tasks surrounding poultry processing such as debone or evisceration
• Perform all duties in compliance with Company policies and procedures, agency guidelines (i.e. NCC Animal Welfare, U.S.D.A, etc.) and Federal, State and local legal requirements
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (i.e. non-slip footwear, earplugs, hair and beard nets, hardhats, etc.) correctly at all times in areas requiring PPE helping to promote a zero accident culture
• Perform additional relevant duties as assigned
EDUCATION and CERTIFICATIONS:
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
• Previous poultry experience preferred
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:
• Follow departmental and company safety policies and programs
• Wear required protective equipment in all areas where mandatory
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to work non-standard shifts (weekends, holidays and extended shifts) as needed
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Exposure to wet and cold environment, and work around raw and/or animal odors
• Exposure to noise of > 85 decibels, CO2 and moving equipment

The Shift Leader provides leadership and guidance to hourly staff in specific areas of the restaurant during scheduled shifts. A shift leader must be able to perform all job functions of each crew position, including customer service, product preparation, cash accountability, drive-thru and back-line food preparation.
Essential Functions
Assist in the management of specific areas of restaurant during scheduled shifts.
Ensure that restaurant is properly organized and staffed as designated by written schedule through proper job assignments, break rotation and delegation of tasks during both peak and non-peak periods.
Conduct orientation, training and evaluation of crew members in all functional areas.
Assist hourly employees at the point of sale in the execution of product promotions.
Ensure guest service in all areas meets applicable standards for quality, value and cleanliness.
Handle minor customer complaints, taking prompt and appropriate action to resolve problem and make determination when to report to management team on more serious complaints.
May contribute in the execution of the restaurant's business plan through specific job assignments and projects as determined by the management team.
Responsible for timely and accurate completion of all cash accountability reports on assigned shifts.

Informs immediate supervision promptly of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested by the management team.
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma
1-year minimum of management experience at a restaurant chain

Strong math and Windows-based computer literacy
Must demonstrate a high level of professionalism, good communication skills, strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
