Key Responsibilities
•Perform varying manual, repetitive tasks to process meat from the turkeys.
•Ensure product safety and product defense in the plant.
•Follows all GMP and HACCP procedures that relate to product safety with the facility.
•Supports all Food Safety initiatives.
•Some tasks are performed using tools or equipment, while others are completed manually.
•Monitor equipment operation and promptly notify appropriate personnel of any malfunctions or safety concerns.
•Rotate through various functions within the processing department as needed.
•Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications (Education & Experience)
•High school Diploma or related preferred
•Entry level does not require previous experience in a Production role
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
•Self-directed with the ability to work independently as well as with groups
•Ability to effectively plan, organize, and prioritize work.
•Ability to train, maintain and promote a safe work environment
•Read and understand HACCP along with FDA and OSHA requirements as needed

•Ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for prolonged periods of time

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the associate may be required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands, arms, and fingers to manually handle carcasses and parts. Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Certain roles may require specific vision abilities that may include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Working Conditions & Travel Requirements
•Work is performed in a food processing plant with a high noise level, storage coolers/facilities.
•Position requires working around processing plant equipment.
•Must be physically capable of working extended hours, overtime, holidays, and weekends if needed and in varying elements that could include damp, cold, wet, hot or warm environment, standing for long periods of time.
•This position requires the individual to wear and work in personal protective equipment while in the manufacturing environment.
•The noise level of the office environment is usually moderate; the noise level in the manufacturing environment may exceed 85 DBA and require hearing protection.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
• Learn and perform production related tasks surrounding poultry processing such as debone or evisceration
• Perform all duties in compliance with Company policies and procedures, agency guidelines (i.e. NCC Animal Welfare, U.S.D.A, etc.) and Federal, State and local legal requirements
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (i.e. non-slip footwear, earplugs, hair and beard nets, hardhats, etc.) correctly at all times in areas requiring PPE helping to promote a zero accident culture

The Warehouse ShiftSupervisor will supervise warehouse associates to ensure tasks are completed on time and in accordance with company policies as well as state and federal laws. Communicate with customers, supervisors, or other personnel to exchange information or resolve problems.
Responsibilities include:
Assign associates to designated areas to meet inbound productivity demands
Supervise associates to ensure compliance with company policies, state, and federal laws
Collaborate with management to evaluate associate performance and coordinate training as necessary
Oversee warehouse associates to ensure inbound process is adhered to and efficient
Communicate attendance issues and policy violations with Inbound Operations Manager
Facilitate pre-shift safety brief and performance stretching/warm-up exercises

Description of Work
This is beginning level supervisory nursing work. Employees in this class are characterized by the performance of supervision of a single component or unit of a nursing program including research. Ensure all HR, sanitation, safety, and security policies and procedures are recognized and enforced to provide a safe and compliant environment for all when in charge of the shift.
