Oversee hot work operations, ensuring proper permitting, fire watch assignments, and strict adherence to safety procedures related to welding, burning, and grinding activities aboard vessels and in yard facilities. Lead coordination efforts between departments, subcontractors, and project management teams to resolve production and technical issues that may impact critical path work. Monitor and enforce compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and customer‑specific safety and environmental requirements, including confined space entry, fall protection, and hazard communication standards.
