Global food manufacturer is in search of an experienced Production Supervisor to join its team, focused on leadership of food manufacturing lines within its state-of-the-art, heavily-automated facility in Memphis, TN. This position will supervise hourly associates on automated processing and packaging lines and will be accountable for production targets, safety, and quality within the plant.
Key requirements to be considered for this opportunity:
BS Degree preferred
At least 2-3 years of demonstrated production leadership experience within a highly automated food manufacturing plant. Experience with RTE, canned, or pouched products is a plus.
Strong knowledge of FDA and USDA regulations, as well as GMPs and HACCP / SQF / GFSI / PCQI standards
Ability to lead union associates from the floor, including adherence to 5S and lean manufacturing principles
Must have excellent communication skills and systems ability
Flexibility with shift is absolutely essential - this role will likely be assigned to the NIGHT shift, 4:00 PM - 4:00 AM - 3/3/1 rotation with every other weekend off
