What our
Seasonal Extraction Lead
will do:
Ensure the implementation of safety protocols, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and quality standards.
Foster and maintain a safe work environment while promoting a strong safety culture.
Ensure all materials and products are produced within established specifications.
Achieve and maintain operational targets and production goals.
At the start of the shift, assign tasks, communicate the schedule, and outline the work to be completed.
Send OEE percentage reports as required via email.
Monitor employee breaks and lunches, ensuring compliance with break schedules.
Review and sign off on required shift paperwork.
At the end of the shift, address any safety or quality concerns, reconcile materials and paperwork, and resolve quality issues.
Take ownership of and actively participate in personal development.
Be available for a flexible schedule, including mandatory weekends and overtime.
Qualifications
Skills & experience that are necessary as our Seasonal

Capability to perform mathematical operations involving units of weight, volume, and distance.

Responsibilities
* Measures 3rd Shift product quality through the use of statistical methods, control charting, and process improvement techniques
* Updates and maintains Quality Department computer databases and quality system files
* Conducts various quality tests to ensure customer specifications are met
* Accurately completes all required quality inspections and quality systems documentation
* Maintains work area in an organized, safe, and clean manner
* Follow all Standard Operating Procedures, Safety Standards and Safe Work Practices
* Assist and train production floor associates on quality topics to ensure customer specifications are met
* Complete required calibration of quality test equipment and ensure proper use.
* Tracks and coordinates non-conforming material
* Maintains inventory of department quality supplies
* Communicate pertinent information at shift change
Qualifications
* High School diploma or GED equivalence
* Must be able to effectively communicate (verbal/written) with various levels within the facility
* Basic computer systems knowledge (Windows, Word, Excel). SAP, PowerPoint a plus
* Experience with AIB or BRC quality systems a plus
* Experience in a GFCI certification environment a plus
* Other job duties as assigned by the Team Leader
* Ability to work independently as well as working with others effectively as a part of a team is essential
* Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
* Adhere to Novolex's Lockout and Tagout Procedure

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for managing employee shifts. The Shift Supervisor will establish a daily Game Plan, assign Staff Duties/Tasks, supervise on-duty employees for customer service, store details, and completion of assigned duties/task to established Company standards.
The primary function of this position is to provide direction for store operations as established by the Store Manager, maintain, and enforce established company policies, procedures, and standards.
This position reports to the Store Manager and Lead Supervisor. The Shift Supervisor will be assigned additional job duties or areas of responsibility per the Store Manager's direction.
The Shift Supervisor must be able to recognize and resolve conflicts of any kind and protect the assets of the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain established store operations with the direction of the Store Manager and/or Lead Supervisor.
Protect all company assets.
Teach, train, and guide employees within the established guidelines.
Interact with management to expand gross profit opportunities.
Process employee evaluations for those employees that report to a specific Shift Supervisor.
Ability to process vendor invoices, SSCS, EOD the daily deposit function(s) as required by store management.
Understand and be actively involved in inventory control processes.
Process customer transactions through point-of-sale equipment.
Establish and maintain excellent vendor relations with current and new vendors.
This position supervises store clerks within established guidelines.
Maintain excellent relations with store guests.
Position includes stocking the store as needed to maintain in-stock levels.
Ability to monitor and utilize the Veeder Root fuel reporting system.
Must receive EPA UST Class B License within 60 Days of Hire.
Must Maintain current Safety or Employee Training Programs as assigned.
Must monitor Profit Margins on a daily basis and report unusual findings to Manager or Lead Supervisor.
Must be available to work all shifts.

Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
1 year's prior retail experience in a high traffic convenience store and or fueling station environment preferred.
Management experience highly preferred.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Computer literate including Microsoft programs, point of sale systems and handheld scanner use.
Show proficiency in communication, planning and organizing, initiative, judgment, delegation, and leadership.
Ability to manage and maintain confidential information.
Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen.
Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check.
Must hold California Driver License and insurable through TREDC.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must write clearly and concisely using correct grammar to record and report information.
