Assignments are designed to further develop judgment and understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities. + Exercising judgment limited to developing details of work in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives. + Preparing engineering related calculations and developing drawings and visual aids. + Assisting with field inspections to evaluate the work performed and materials used. + Assisting with construction administration and documentation of deficiencies and deviations from plans. + Working under supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member. + Researching and compiling project information for reporting, marketing, and funding requests. + Creating and maintaining centralized files for project records (including digital). + Coordinating logistics and meetings for project managers. + Attending and taking minutes for the development team as requested. + Helping in the preparation of reports, including monthly development reports. + Assisting with community outreach duties as needed. + Attending neighborhood, community, and project meetings. + Undertaking tasks as may be assigned by project managers. + Having a clear understanding of the budget and assist in the creation of and adherence to project and development budgets. **Qualifications** Minimum Qualifications: + Candidates must be currently enrolled in a university program pursing a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field with the intent to continue enrollment after an internship. + Must have completed at least 1 year of study. Preferred Qualifications: + Capable of using spreadsheet, word processing and standard office software. + Basic knowledge of industry standard computer software for the position (examples include software such as CADD, HCS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, GIS, Hydrologic/Hydraulic models). + Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office Suite. + strong problem-solving skills and consistent attention to detail. + Ability to manage changing deadlines and work well under pressure for multiple team leaders. + Work independently and effectively to prioritize multiple tasks. + Highly organized with excellent time management skills. + Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills. Coordinate tool tests with the CNC Programmer and report CNC programming changes that need to be made to improve tool life and part quality. Clean up extra unused tooling at each work-center and inventory it to be sharpened or reused. Set up tool packages for CNC machine changeovers to ensure CNC operators have all tooling they need to perform quick changeovers. Inventory current tooling used at work-centers (such as custom-made boring heads) to help identify where spare tooling will be required to help production flow. Assist the CNC operators in part changeover duties in pit-crew style changeovers to help the changeover go quicker and smoother. Help complete program changes/transfers when CNC Programmer needs support. Perform other duties, as assigned. REQUIRED PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Standing for more than 1 hour, walking more than 100 ft., reach above, at or below shoulders, climb stairs, bend, stoop, and/or squat, grasping, hand/wrist twisting, lifting of up to 50lbs. ABOUT THE JOB The Tepa Companies are seeking a Welding Apprentice who will Perform welding tasks under supervision on piping and plate within petroleum operations facilities. In addition to welding, the successful candidate must be able to assist in tasks related to welding such as fit‐up, preparation, repair, inspection, and post weld preparation. As required, the Apprentice Welder will also be tasked to assist with general site work such as loading and unloading equipment and materials, site clean‐up and preparation, mobilization, and demobilization to and from the jobsite, scaffolding erection, general tank construction tasks and other duties as assigned. This role is intended for May 2026 college graduates who majored in an applicable field.
