The Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist provides outpatient psychiatric evaluations and medication support and management to children and adolescent clients. Responsibilities include providing mental health clinical services to adults, children and their families with mental health issues, including psychiatric diagnosis, prescription writing, and psychotherapy as part of a full-service treatment team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Analyze and evaluate patient data and test or examination findings to diagnose the nature and extent of mental disorders.
Conduct psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management with general knowledge in the areas of Historical Trauma and Trauma-informed Care, domestic violence dynamics, pain management, addictive behavior, and developmental issues.
Prescribe, direct, and administer psychotherapeutic treatments or medications to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders.
Collaborate with physicians, psychologists, social workers, psychiatric nurses, or other professionals to discuss treatment plans and progress; Review and evaluate treatment procedures and outcomes of other psychiatrists and medical professionals.
Gather and maintain patient information and records, including social and medical history obtained from patients, relatives, and other professionals.
Counsel clients and their families during office visits; Advise and inform guardians, relatives, and significant others of patients' conditions and treatment.
Design individualized care plans, using a variety of treatments.
Examine or conduct laboratory or diagnostic tests on patients to provide information on general physical conditions and mental disorders.
Serve on committees to promote and maintain community mental health services and delivery systems.
Provide psychiatric care within the scope of his/her licensure and in accordance with community standards of care.
Observes and executes medical protocols, policies, and procedures in compliance with AAAHC standards.
Supports implementation of the organization's Continuous Quality Improvement Plans and participates in monthly meetings as necessary.
Maintains compliance with all aspects of regulatory and funding requirements including, but not limited to OSHA, CLIA, Title 22, etc.
Coordinate with KFS staff to offer full spectrum of services related to mental wellness including education, assessment, crisis intervention, safety planning, family support, case management and referral to services not provided by SSTHP.
Participate in Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) conferencing to coordinate clinic treatment plans with internal and external sources.
Cooperate and collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment approaches as appropriate.
Assist in the development and provision of outreach services to educate the Indian community regarding mental health and wellness. Outreach will include, but is not limited to, prevention education on reservation sites, in patients' homes, work sites, schools, detention centers, inpatient units, jails and prisons.
Document succinct and comprehensive case records in a timely and consistent manner in accordance with agency policies, ethical guidelines and legal and regulatory requirements.
Adhere strictly to the laws and ethics related to privacy and confidentiality at all times.
Allow for, and encourage, traditional cultural practices that are consistent with spiritual beliefs and serve as protective factors.
Attend program, clinical, or administrative meetings and trainings as required.
Participate in activities and trainings which enhance professional development.
Participate, as needed, in review and analysis of data including, but not limited to, quality improvement, adverse clinical incidents, population demographics and morbidity's, clinical decision-making and consultation with clinicians to insure ongoing behavioral health integration into primary care.
Assist in the development and implementation of quality management improvement activities, improvement plans, and clinical practice guidelines.
Provides culturally competent mental health care in community health clinic serving American Indian/ Alaska Native and other low income populations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Education and Experience: Minimum of two years' community-based practice and in health care delivery and clinical systems. MD or DO degree with a California license to practice .
Board certified in child and adolescent psychiatry.

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Backgrounds & Licensing, the Background Investigator I will conduct basic and routine background investigations relative to the licensing and suitability of gaming employees as a means of protection and maintaining the integrity of gaming. The investigations may require limited, local travel to El Dorado and adjoining counties to conduct public records research or other investigative contacts. Related duties include providing assistance to other gaming commission operations such as the Compliance Unit and the Internal Audit Unit that may require investigative or other technical assistance from time to time. This is the first level of the Background Investigator positions, with the greatest focus on learning and application of Background Investigator I skills.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Conduct thorough intake interviews with potential gaming employees, vendors, and management personnel and conduct detailed assessment and reviews of the applications being submitted by all individuals and businesses seeking to obtain gaming or vendor licenses from the Shingle Springs Gaming Commission.
Obtain complete and legible fingerprints from all gaming license applications by use of either manually inked and rolled impressions or by use of a Live Scan fingerprinting system; transmits those fingerprints either manually or electronically to federal and/or state agencies and maintains accurate and current records of all fingerprint submissions and systematically documents the investigative process.
Conduct reviews and assessments of qualifications for applicant licensing based upon criminal history records and other criteria.
Maintain accurate records and security of all sensitive and/or confidential information obtained from business entities, credit bureau, database providers, government, or Tribal gaming agencies relative to individual applicants.
Conduct comprehensive background investigations by use of professional investigative techniques and documents each aspect of the investigation; preparing written requests for the release of information and forwarding such requests to references, current and/or former employers, businesses, schools/colleges/universities, Tribal, State and Federal agencies and accurately documents the submittals and responses to each inquiry.
Prepare detailed investigative reports or summaries of investigative findings; prepares recommendations for gaming license denials and/or favorable determinations of suitability for the Commission Chairman.
Perform on-line data base searches on gaming license applicants credit reports or profiles, civil and criminal histories, residence histories and other related investigative research and maintains such records and the return information related to each search.
Assist in the assessment of existing investigative protocols and provides input and recommendations for the development or guidelines designed to refine and strengthen the background investigations and licensing process for all gaming license applicants.
Develop cooperative working relationships with other Tribal gaming commissions investigative units, the local courts and various government agencies or departments where public records are maintained, law enforcement agencies and state and federal regulatory agencies.
Provide support and services to other Shingle Springs Gaming Commission units and the management of the gaming operation.
Utilize and accurately maintain the various tracking systems and programs the gaming commission has in place for keeping track of gaming licensing renewals, billings, gaming license suspensions, conditions, or revocations and/or denials.
Operate the Shingle Springs Gaming Commission Identification badge system, take ID photos of licensees, identify level of access based upon job positions then enable and program the ID badges and record each badge by number and name in the control system; accurately record and maintain the ID badge records for subsequent transmittal to State Gaming Agencies or other regulatory agencies for use by Unit Manager.
Provide data entry in other existing commission databases for records storage.
Understand and use computers and various software programs, telephones, cellular phones, fax machines, electronic mail, as well as have a working understanding of basic accounting principles, use of spreadsheets and basic business records.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Under the direct supervision of the Fire Chief/Captain, the Firefighter will uphold the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians (the Tribe) Fire Department's stated mission statement, core values, and goals. Firefighters are required to perform skilled emergency service work including fire suppression, emergency medical, hazardous materials, and non-emergency duties such as fuel reduction, fire prevention, public assistance and education. Firefighters must be able work for extended periods of time at emergency incidents that may involve physical exertion often under adverse environmental conditions. This position is an arduous position and subject to medical screening, physical fitness training, and random drug testing. This job description is for the entry-level and seasonal classifications.
This position may or may not be engaged in firefighting activities, but will be directly working under supervision in training, fuels reduction projects, team building, outdoor recreation management, and various projects that require basic use of a variety of firefighting tools and techniques.

The Integrated Behavioral Health Clinician is responsible for providing evidenced based behavioral healthcare assessment and clinical services in the primary care setting of the SSHWC Medical Department. As part of an integrated behavioral health and primary care practice, the IBH Clinician provides initial patient evaluations, triage assessments, crisis intervention management, brief interventions, skills training, care coordination, and case management. The IBH Clinician works closely with behavioral health and primary care providers and participates in interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Conduct psychosocial evaluations, screenings, and triage assessments. Aide patients in dealing with psychosocial factors which affect their health and well-being and detection of high-risk patients to provide care to prevent further psychological deterioration. In collaboration with patients primary care provider, provide direct patient care within the scope of training and departmental protocols, make referrals, follow-ups, and provide or arrange for patient/family health education.
Coordinate daily clinic activities including patient flow, triage (i.e. walk-ins and telephone contacts), COVID-19 screening and testing, and oversees COVID-19 vaccine activities.

POSITION SUMMARY
With a focus on children, youth, and families, provides psychiatric assessments, medication monitoring, & continuity of care. Responsible for performing basic screening, diagnostic treatment, rehabilitative and supportive services as a member of a primary and psychiatric health care team for outpatient clients using a client-directed outcome informed approach. This may include direct supervision as well as review and revision of all applicable procedures and their execution relating to the daily medically related activities. Provide continuous and comprehensive services necessary for the promotion of optimal mental health, prevention and treatment of psychiatric disorders and health maintenance to children and adolescents, ages 12 - 20. This includes the assessment, diagnosis, and management of mental health problems and psychiatric disorders. The PA/NP works collaboratively with other on-site medical and mental health providers as well as with community PCPs and other allied mental health professionals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Patient Care Management/Documentation
Work collaboratively with a physician and/or mental health provider of record, (if one exists), to provide comprehensive adolescent mental health services.
Through patient evaluation, determine a differential diagnosis and plan for intervention.
Adhere to standards via identified text and/or via office practice standard protocols.
Maintain a customer-oriented approach to meeting patient needs in an expedient manner, involving the family in the plan of care as appropriate.

The Integrated Behavioral Health Clinician is responsible for providing evidenced based behavioral healthcare assessment and clinical services in the primary care setting of the SSHWC Medical Department. As part of an integrated behavioral health and primary care practice, the IBH Clinician provides initial patient evaluations, triage assessments, crisis intervention management, brief interventions, skills training, care coordination, and case management. The IBH Clinician works closely with behavioral health and primary care providers and participates in interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Conduct psychosocial evaluations, screenings, and triage assessments. Aide patients in dealing with psychosocial factors which affect their health and well-being and detection of high-risk patients to provide care to prevent further psychological deterioration. Use brief assessments routinely (PHQ, GAD 7, ACES, AUDIT, etc.).
Complete risk assessments of patients in crisis or with suicidal thoughts using evidence-based tools (such as Columbia Risk Assessment) to assist with safety and planning.

Background Investigator I
Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians job in Placerville, CA
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Backgrounds & Licensing, the Background Investigator I will conduct basic and routine background investigations relative to the licensing and suitability of gaming employees as a means of protection and maintaining the integrity of gaming. The investigations may require limited, local travel to El Dorado and adjoining counties to conduct public records research or other investigative contacts. Related duties include providing assistance to other gaming commission operations such as the Compliance Unit and the Internal Audit Unit that may require investigative or other technical assistance from time to time. This is the first level of the Background Investigator positions, with the greatest focus on learning and application of Background Investigator I skills.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Conduct thorough intake interviews with potential gaming employees, vendors, and management personnel and conduct detailed assessment and reviews of the applications being submitted by all individuals and businesses seeking to obtain gaming or vendor licenses from the Shingle Springs Gaming Commission.
Obtain complete and legible fingerprints from all gaming license applications by use of either manually inked and rolled impressions or by use of a Live Scan fingerprinting system; transmits those fingerprints either manually or electronically to federal and/or state agencies and maintains accurate and current records of all fingerprint submissions and systematically documents the investigative process.
Conduct reviews and assessments of qualifications for applicant licensing based upon criminal history records and other criteria.
Maintain accurate records and security of all sensitive and/or confidential information obtained from business entities, credit bureau, database providers, government, or Tribal gaming agencies relative to individual applicants.
Conduct comprehensive background investigations by use of professional investigative techniques and documents each aspect of the investigation; preparing written requests for the release of information and forwarding such requests to references, current and/or former employers, businesses, schools/colleges/universities, Tribal, State and Federal agencies and accurately documents the submittals and responses to each inquiry.
Prepare detailed investigative reports or summaries of investigative findings; prepares recommendations for gaming license denials and/or favorable determinations of suitability for the Commission Chairman.
Perform on-line data base searches on gaming license applicants' credit reports or profiles, civil and criminal histories, residence histories and other related investigative research and maintains such records and the return information related to each search.
Assist in the assessment of existing investigative protocols and provides input and recommendations for the development or guidelines designed to refine and strengthen the background investigations and licensing process for all gaming license applicants.
Develop cooperative working relationships with other Tribal gaming commissions' investigative units, the local courts and various government agencies or departments where public records are maintained, law enforcement agencies and state and federal regulatory agencies.
Provide support and services to other Shingle Springs Gaming Commission units and the management of the gaming operation.
Utilize and accurately maintain the various tracking systems and programs the gaming commission has in place for keeping track of gaming licensing renewals, billings, gaming license suspensions, conditions, or revocations and/or denials.
Operate the Shingle Springs Gaming Commission Identification badge system, take ID photos of licensees, identify level of access based upon job positions then enable and program the ID badges and record each badge by number and name in the control system; accurately record and maintain the ID badge records for subsequent transmittal to State Gaming Agencies or other regulatory agencies for use by Unit Manager.
Provide data entry in other existing commission databases for records storage.
Understand and use computers and various software programs, telephones, cellular phones, fax machines, electronic mail, as well as have a working understanding of basic accounting principles, use of spreadsheets and basic business records.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least 21 years of age.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience in a similar position may be considered in lieu of education if the applicant's additional qualifying knowledge and skills closely relate to the position's skill set.

Surveillance Operator I

Under the direct and regular supervision of the Surveillance Shift Supervisor, the Surveillance Operator I plays a crucial part in maintaining surveillance of properties owned by the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians. The Surveillance Operator I works under close supervision, focusing on observing, documenting, and reporting criminal, regulatory, and procedural actions that would adversely affect any aspect of the operation. This is an entry level position with the greatest focus on learning and basic application of Surveillance Operator skills.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Monitors all areas of the casino through the use of CCTV digital equipment.
2. Observes, records, and documents potential security and safety risks to guests and employees.
3. Observes, documents, and records all procedural, criminal, and regulatory infractions.
4. Utilizes CCTV and digital surveillance equipment to record, label, and store video incidents as evidence.
5. Acquires a basic understanding of the NIGC minimum internal control standards as they pertain to the casino operation. Documents and reports MICS infractions to the Gaming Commission.
6. Maintains a basic understanding of departmental policies and procedures affecting the casino operation as a whole.
7. Completes a daily activity report.
8. Coordinates with the appropriate department when Surveillance discovers any matter which needs further investigation or attention.
9. Attends regularly scheduled department meetings and training sessions.
10. Maintains a basic understanding of table games, slots, count, and cashier procedures; with emphasis on the detection of procedural errors and cheating methods.
