Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Performs all work adhering to OSHA and H&K Safety policies.
Acquires tools needed for daily operations
Measures distances from grade stakes, drives stakes, and stretches tight line.
Bolts, nails, aligns, and blocks up under forms.
Signals operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery to conform to grade specifications.
Levels earth to fine grade specifications.
Mixes concrete.
Smooths and finishes freshly poured cement or concrete.
Positions, joins, aligns, and seals pipe sections.
Erects scaffolding, shoring, and braces.
Paving Duties:
Assists with pre-run markings
Uses a paving lute to fine grade before roller man compacts
Operates vibratory plate as needed
Shovels asphalt as required
Direct traffic around work area as required
Pipe Duties:
Gets tools needed for daily operations
Gets job set up for daily function such as setting up a pipe laser
Operates a Wacker and jumping jack to perform backfilling duties
Uses cut saws to make pipe proper length
Preps pipe for connection before pipe gets lowered
Shoots grades and checks grades using laser or conventional methods
Performs connection of pipe work
Responsible for checking for proper pipe slope
Preps structures for installation
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required Skills, Education, and Experience
One month of related experience and/or training
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Mathematical skills including ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
Ability to understand and carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
Problem solving
Ability to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as needed
Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)
Preferred Skills, Education, and Experience
Experience working in heavy civil construction, road construction, or quarries
OSHA or other relevant safety certifications
Physical Demands

Use hands and arms to finger, handle, reach, and feel

Stand, walk, and climb
Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Job Title: Paint Line Worker
Department: Paint Line - Production
reports to the Production Supervisor - Fabrication
Responsibilities:
Set-up and maintains paint line equipment
Read work orders, follows production drawings, sample assemblies or verbal direction to paint products
Set-up daily work by masking of parts and hanging parts on the paint-rack
Inspect part surface for defects prior to painting
Hang parts for optimal use of paint booth space
Watch material in process on paint line to monitor paint flow to assure coating and color conform to specifications
Stack painted parts carefully
Check and clean machinery and shop floor
Assist with special projects as assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
Must have High School Diploma or equivalent, a technical certification, a plus
Mechanically inclined with experience using basic hand tools
Ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English
Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
Ability to read and interpret work instructions, production documents, and engineering drawings
Must possess a strong attention to detail
Must be able to tolerate long periods of standing
Ability to regularly lift and move up to 25lbs. and occasionally up to 50lbs.
Visual requirements include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to focus
Proficient computer skills
General knowledge of workplace safety, a plus

What You'll Do:
Perform precision wood planing and milling to meet custom project specifications.
Operate woodworking equipment and tools safely and effectively.
Inspect and measure materials to ensure quality and accuracy.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.
Work collaboratively with team members to meet production deadlines.
Handle and move materials, occasionally lifting up to 100 lbs.
Requirements
What You Bring:
Previous experience in woodworking, millwork, or a custom woodshop environment preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to safely operate woodworking machinery.
Reliable, team-oriented, and proactive mindset.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to follow technical instructions.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Hours for this position are Monday through Friday 7:30am - 5pm, and a 1/2 day on Saturday rotation.
