Product Testers are wanted to work from home nationwide in the US to fulfill upcoming contracts with national and international companies. We guarantee 15-25 hours per week with an hourly pay of between $25/hr. and $45/hr., depending on the In-Home Usage Test project. No experience required.
There is no payment required in order to apply or to work as an In-Home Usage Tester. You don't have to buy products or pay for shipping, everything is paid by our company. In-Home Usage Testers are considered independent contractors, we pay weekly every Wednesday by direct deposit or by cheque.
Online Consumer Panels America is a consulting firm that specializes in product testing and product development work. We design and conduct In-Home Usage Testing (IHUT) locally and nationally to provide actual user feedback in real-time to companies and market research firms to evaluate products to ensure proper product certification and greater market access.
It is important to note that during your application process, reputable market research companies will determine your demographics and consumer profile to establish what products would be suitable for you to test. Market research companies that partner with us will use questionnaires to identify and target certain types of consumers, to ensure that the right participants are engaged and to achieve the representative sample needed.
Participation in these product testing and consumer panels is always free, secure and private. In-Home Usage Testing is a quick, easy and fun way to make extra cash by telling big brands what you think about their upcoming products and services in the American market.
Main Duties:
Properly document In-Home Usage Tests as instructed in the In-Home Usage Test Daily Schedule (screenshots, audio recordings, videos, product journal entries, etc.)
Take care of the product being tested and use it responsibly
Read and strictly follow the In-Home Usage Test Daily Schedule provided with each product testing project (may include tasks such as unpacking, reading instructions, journal entries, online or mobile feedback, usage of product for a certain amount of time, writing reviews, taking pictures, etc.)
Some In-Home Usage Tests projects may require participants to use MFour's Mobile In-Home Use Test Technology (cutting-edge smartphone technology to capture Point-of-Emotion insights to gain unparalleled depth of responses)
There are times when the product being tested may be discussed in a private chat room that is opened by a market research firm
Write reviews as requested in the In-Home Usage Test Daily Schedule for each project
Requirements:

The Town of Chapel Hill's Summer Youth Employment Program is open to all Chapel Hill youth who meet the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) income guidelines. The program is sponsored by a Community Development Block Grant.
* The program hires youth between the ages of 14-18 years old.
* Families must meet income guidelines (earn less than 80% of the median income for Chapel Hill adjusted for family size)
* Youth generally work 6-7 weeks, about 20 hours per week during the summer, for a maximum of 120 hours.
* $12.00-$13.00per hour
* Youth are hired to work within different departments at the Town, as well as various area non-profits.
* The program provides workshops to assist with resume writing ,interviewing skills, and to teach youth how to conduct themselves during and after an interview.

What You'll Do:
Be part of the team that turns waste into resources! As a Materials Recovery Facility Worker, you'll keep things moving by directing trucks, sorting and handling recyclables, and keeping our facility clean and safe. Every day, your work helps protect the environment and support a cleaner community.
Essential Tasks & Responsibilities:
Directs traffic and guides truck operator to different areas of the tipping floor;
Separates recycling materials including cardboard, wood, scrap metal, white goods, aluminum cans, glass, plastics by type and steel cans;
Identifies and separates usable cardboard;
Assists in handling of tipping floor traffic;
Receives recycling tickets from truck drivers;
Cleans tipping floor area, bathrooms, breakrooms, offices, conveyor pits, cat walks, OCC screen, Ballistic separator, and picks up litter outside of the facility;
Receives, unloads, weights, and stacks electronic and other recyclable materials;
Ensures that all work is performed in accordance with OSHA and city Safety Standards and Policies.

Hearing/Speaking - Talking - Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of spoken word. Hearing - Perceiving nature of sounds by ear. Both necessary to insure safety for other employees and the public.
Visual Abilities - the ability to perceive the nature of objects by the eye. Recommended guidelines for vision are:
Acuity, far - clarity of vision at 20 feet or more. Must be able to see vehicles, for safety reasons, as they approach. Both eyes 20/25 - R 20/30 - L 20/30 corrected.
Acuity, near - clarity of vision at 20 inches or less. Must be able to see various materials to separate for recycling. Both eyes 20/22 corrected.
Depth Perception - three-dimensional vision. Ability to judge distance and space relationships to see objects where and as they are. Must be able to judge distances when working on the catwalk.
Field of vision - area that can be seen up and down or the right or left while eyes are fixed on a given point. Must be able to see wide span of area to cover immediate work area and surrounding area to insure safety.
Accommodation - adjustment of lens of eye to bring an object into sharp focus. This is especially important when doing near-point work while glancing up to check entire work area. Must be able to adjust the eye lens to glance quickly from recycling materials to people who are located on the tipping floor.

Physical Surroundings
The worker is subject to inside environmental conditions. Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. Worker is required to work in extremely hot weather and extremely cold weather without heat in the winter and air conditioning in the summer.
