Specific Duties & Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities:

Strip walls, columns, decks.
Provide Support to carpenters, engineers, and rodmen with transport of materials and equipment.

Uses rake, vibrator, wheelbarrow, and concrete bucket to place concrete.
Operate, understand concrete vibrator and procedures.
Install concrete with the use of hoses, conveyors and concrete chutes.
Applies concrete properly in all weather conditions.
Loads and unloads trucks.
Cleans columns, walls, floors, tools and equipment during & after pours.
Assist with the use of lasers.
Signals crane and truck operators.
Riggs loads for hoisting.

Perform demolition work and operate air compressor with jackhammers.
Operate, understand, and maintain power tools in a safe manner.
Key Qualifications:
Minimum of one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum five years of experience as a skilled Laborer in the concrete industry.
Possess Valid ID
Ability to write routine correspondence and communicate with co-workers.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.
Ability to read and use tape measures and apply associated math skills.
Must have the ability to exert heavy physical effort, handling average weight objects up to 60 pounds.
Ability to kneel, stoop, crouch, balance, climb or crawl.
Ability to correctly rig and hoist material.
