Under the supervision of the Preadmission Unit Supervisor, the Principal Admitting Worker is primarily assigned to the Pre-Admit Unit but may rotate or be assigned to any area or site as outlined in the Admitting Department Expectations. The Principal Admitting Worker is responsible for financial clearance of scheduled admissions and surgical procedures, identifying any potential authorization issues that place the patient and/or organization at financial risk. Duties include screening surgical case entries/orders, verifying insurance eligibility and benefits, and ensuring authorizations are secured. The Principal Admitting Worker is required to have general knowledge of health insurance plans with an understanding of the authorization process. The Principal Admitting Worker must be able to effectively communicate with physicians/clinic staff, the applicable Medical Center ancillary department, and/or review organization(s) as required, maintaining a high degree of professionalism.
Job Summary :The Analyst II Coder, under the direction of the Revenue Manager/Associate Director, provides support in areas of revenue operations related to production coding, auditing, and training for their designated areas. Under general supervision, applies acquired skills as a revenue cycle analyst to perform charge capture and charge flow, PB coding, charge edit reviews, claim edits, RFIs, support setting up new charging practices/units, and reporting.
Gaining expertise to act as a specialist for designated divisions. Manages a diverse range of 1000 - 3500 procedural code set combinations, plus Evaluation and Management services coding. Demonstrates core coding competency and proficiency in moderately complex duties, including Prof Fee and technical coding. Provides analysis to support department revenue cycle management and improve work queue design and management. Provides education and training to physicians and clinical staff on documentation to ensure compliance with coding guidelines. The Analyst II will perform an in-depth review of physician documentation and is responsible for presenting findings along with recommendations to the department on physician education.
Familiar with all applicable billing and coding regulations and effectively communicates these regulations to all levels of faculty, management, and staff. Applies broad knowledge of hospital operations, different payor guidelines, charge capture and work flows, Epic systems, authorizations, and charge trigger to assign codes based on review of clinical charts, evaluate and resolve denial issues, and identify areas of revenue cycle improvement.

The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Responsibilities: The primary objective of the staff attorney is to provide legal services to low income employees. The attorney will manage the Workers' Rights Program and its staff at LRCL, and provide legal advice, attend mandatory grant administrator meetings, and collaborate with stakeholders in community events.
The attorney will have discretion to adjust employee grievances within the WRP program.The attorney will also have authority on behalf of the employer, to hire, transfer, layoff, recall, promote, discharge, reward (includes evaluations, overtime assignments, time off), assign, or discipline employees within the Workers' Rights program, or to recommend such actions to the Executive Director.
The position will require the attorney to manage an individual caseload, maintain regular clinic hours (1x/month), recruitment and supervision of a legal assistant, interns and pro bono attorneys(as needed), to assist in meeting goals of the position as well as enhance the resources available to the community. The staff attorney will assist with fund development and grant renewals and ensure funding obligations including obligations under the contract, and reporting requirements.

Under direct supervision, laborers perform general, unskilled manual labor. * Collects, transports and sorts various recycling materials.
* Cleans, disinfects, and maintains all material handling containers, trash equipment and work areas.
* Inspects forklifts, pull bins, tractor, and trash compactor daily before operation, performs minor maintenance on wheels, casters, tow links, etc. and reports equipment malfunctions to Supervisor.
* Records activities such as transport pickup schedules, collection quantities, corrective work needed on vehicles or equipment and fills out timesheets.
* Replace restroom dispenser and activities as follows:
* Replaces broken restroom dispensers.
* Delivers emergency supplies to various locations around campus.
* Responds to work orders from the customer service desk.
* Reports all non-working light fixtures to the customer service desk to be referred to an electrician for appropriate action.
* Overtime work may be required after-hours and on weekends.
* May be assigned to wear uniform clothing provided.
* Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
* Abilities:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Assist in maintaining neatness and cleanliness of our facility, to include restacking weights, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling
Assist with putting on and taking off pool cover and lane lines, to include pushing, pulling, cranking a handle, bending, and stooping
Willing and able to physically assist people with getting out of the pool, off of equipment, and be willing and able to perform CPR/AED and 1st Aid
Must be at least 18 years old with a clear Live Scan certification
Certifications: Must be CPR/AED and 1st Aid Certified (or willing to get certified within 3 months of starting position) and willing to perform CPR and other 1st Aid as needed; mandated reporter certified
SCHEDULE
Part-time positions: 6 - 12 hours per week (2 shift minimum)
Monday-Saturday 8:00am to 11am. Hours may vary.
Operational hours are subject to change.
Compensation: $19.00 - $21.87 per hour
