Compensation: $20.25 - $21.25 per hour Shifts available: Location: 28010 Eucalyptus Ave, Moreno Valley, CA 92555 Role Description: We are looking for a careful forklift operator to move packages and material around our facilities. You will be operating a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety. Your job could involve driving around warehouses, storage spaces and other facilities. You must be responsible and have solid experience in driving industrial vehicles. The goal will be to ensure that material and products will always be at the right place to achieve maximum efficiency. What you'll do: Operate a forklift, electric pallet jack, pacer or other machinery used for transporting or shipping goods. Load, unload, pack, and unpack stock of product or pallets from incoming vehicles. Transport, retrieve and/or relocate stock of product or pallets to workstations or other assigned locations within the warehouse. Label and sort incoming and outgoing shipments. Monitor and maintain inventory of incoming and outgoing items. Inspecting equipment before and after use to ensure it's in good working order. Identifying damages and reporting shortages or quality deficiencies. Cleaning equipment after use and disposing of any collected scraps or waste. Carefully handle and dispose of hazardous waste materials whenever necessary. Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies. Other duties/responsibilities as necessary. What you'll bring to the table: Demonstrated experience in stand-up/reach, order/cherry/stock picker, pallet rider (walkie/EPJ), stand-up counterbalance/pacer and JOEY. Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment. Excellent physical condition and coordination. Valid certificate to operate forklifts. What you'll do: As an associate you will be working within one of several teams: * Receiving: This team accepts our customers' new inventory and owns the entire process of getting that inventory put away and accepted into our system. The responsibility of communicating the arrivals and any exceptions are received as well. * Picking: Spread across two different processes our picking team is responsible for delivering products to the next stage of the process quickly and accurately. An integral team in the warehouse, pickers and their peers keep the flow of customers products moving and keep the warehouse humming. * Packing: The final touches before a customer receives their products, the packing team is responsible for ensuring the quality of each and every shipment as well as packing the items correctly. The packing team works together with picking to guarantee that shipments are fulfilled perfectly and owns all responsibility around those shipments. * Other Duties as Required: We are a team which means you will be asked to help out in other areas out of your normal day to day responsibilities to ensure the operations are running efficiently. What you'll bring to the table: * Able to work scheduled shifts including overtime, nights and/or weekends based on business needs and consistently arrive for work on time. * Ability to lift up to 50lbs without any health limitations. * Able to stand and walk continuously during and up to a 10hr shift. * Able to bend, stoop, reach above, and push/pull frequently. * Must be 18 or older. * You're willing to get your hands dirty to get a task completed. * You have the ability to adapt to change quickly. * You are extremely detail oriented. * Ability to quickly understand new processes and identify operational opportunities. * You're looking to get your foot in the door with a rapidly growing start-up company. * 2 years previous logistics experience preferred, 1 year required. * Ready to hit the ground running and excited to learn new processes and pass on knowledge. * Bi-lingual skills are preferred * Duties and responsibilities can shift to meet business needs. * Reach Truck Experience Required.
