Job Summary
The PDC Security Guard will work to maintain the safety and security of the Perishable Distribution Center. The guard is responsible for monitoring to physical security and safety of the facility. Individuals must be able to utilize CCTV, Access Control & Visitor registrations systems and be able to regularly evaluate potential threats and take mitigation steps to maintain a high level of security. The Security guard must always be visible throughout the day and be on alert to evaluate and respond to issues. Primary Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
Supervises the front line (including cashiers, SCO, and membership desk) in the absence of the Front End Manager.
Models and provides excellent Member service, while coaching, teaching and developing team members to do the same.

Utilizes Cashier Observation Forms, Cashier Productivity Boards, and membership metrics reports to drive performance and Member engagement.
Performs front end responsibilities including but not limited to, closing through POS, and Member escalated service issues, etc.
Acts with sense of urgency to ensure Members are assisted in a timely and efficient manner.
Acts as a backup for cashiers and Membership Sales Ambassadors when needed.
Scans all club merchandise through a point-of-sale system to ensure accurate inventory counts and accurate purchase totals for Members. Loads shopping carts when necessary.
Manages self-checkout lanes and scan and pan lanes. Assists Members with operations and technical difficulties.
Collects payments via cash, check, or other charge payments from customers. Issues receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to Members.
Stays up-to-date on all merchandise promotions, advertisements, and product information. Discounts purchases by scanning and redeeming coupons.
Supervises the cleanliness of the front of club member servicing areas.
Ability to navigate within system applications.
Utilize online task management system (MyWork) to manage workflow, track, and monitor daily club operations.
Performs other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.

Job Summary
Working closely with the Assistant Club Manager of Merchandise, the Assistant Night Manager is for ensuring merchandise is properly stocked and available for sale, maintaining presentation standards, delivering a positive member experience, and overseeing the nightly execution and performance of merchandise department tasks

Any person working as a Manager on Duty in the State of Florida must be able to successfully complete and hold a qualifier certification, through the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. This qualification is required by the state of Florida and any person overseeing retail propane operations must hold a qualifier certification. BJ's will pay for 100% of the training and cost of the exams to obtain this qualifier certification.

Job Summary:
As a Maintenance Mechanic II, you are responsible for performing general maintenance duties. These duties include general warehouse maintenance duties to ensure the overall cleanliness of the entire warehouse, including the cleanliness of all power equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
General maintenance duties including maintaining the cleanliness of all powered equipment including: forklift, pallet jacks, sweeper, scrubber, tugger, reach trucks, and clamp attachments.
General warehouse maintenance duties to maintain a safe and professional work environment both in and outside.
Preventive maintenance for all equipment, which diagnose, repair, and maintain. To include, forklifts, pallet jacks, order picker, pacer and battery repairs.
Displays proficiency in all maintenance required programs including recycling of plastics and cardboard, lock out/tag out procedures and hazardous materials
Operate powered equipment including: forklift, pallet jacks, sweeper, scrubber, tugger, reach trucks, and clamp attachments.
Monitor and maintain the functionality and cleanliness of wrap machines, dock locks, and dock levelers.
Apply theory and fundamental principles of electricity, hydraulic and basic mechanics.
Demonstrate above average mechanical abilities and ability to make minor to major repairs.
Display good communication skills and displays the ability to work well with others.
Work independently and with minimal supervision.
Maintain all DC policies and procedures
Maintain a safe and professional work environment
Read electrical and mechanical schematics
Perform other duties as assigned, working in other departments as needed
Ability to be on-call
Available to work weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED. College coursework, continuing technical education or comparable business experience is a plus
At least 18 years of age.
3+ years of previous experience maintaining various powered Material Handling Equipment
Bilingual preferred, English fluency required
Previous power equipment experience preferred
Ability to use a multimeter
Working knowledge of hand and powered tools
Accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to use email, word-processing, spreadsheets, WMS and other applications
Ability to accommodate flexible schedules to meet the needs of the member to include nights, weekends, and holidays
Environmental Job Conditions:
Independently lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 100 lbs. occasionally
Sit, stand, walk bend, squat on a frequent to continual basis in a refrigerated warehouse environment
Grasp, reach, push or pull (such as boxes of product, or a hand truck) on a frequent basis
Endurance for continuous, fast paced work
Fluctuating temperatures within the perishable DC including freezing temperatures as low as -20 degrees Fahrenheit
Able to work while wearing appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for the job (such as steel-toed protective footwear, safety glasses, hard hat, gloves, insulated clothing, etc)
Products may contain food allergens (such as fish, shellfish, peanuts, etc.)
Utilize equipment for the job safely and accurately after training (such as computer, handheld tracker, copiers, scanners, printers, radio headsets, etc.
In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ's Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is $26.50 - $31.88
