Almac Group is currently seeking a Receiving Operator for our Souderton, PA location. The Receiving Operator will be responsible for carrying out all material handling activities required within the receiving area of the warehouse to aid in servicing the Production and Distribution departments. They will be responsible for the receipt of material into the Clinical Services warehouse and ensure that levels of customer service and cGMP compliance are maintained to the highest possible standards.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Unload trucks, segregate and re-stack all incoming components, labels, drug, job related materials, and non-job related materials within the ambient, refrigerated, and frozen areas of the warehouse.
Provide regular updates to the Receiving Operator Grade 3, Receiving Supervisor, and Warehouse Manager where appropriate regarding work allocation and project status.
Ensure all material is labelled, stored correctly and properly protected against damage or deterioration. All stock must be located properly with storage locations being accurately recorded on the relevant system
Assisting other areas within the Warehouse department as deemed necessary by the Receiving Supervisor.
Qualifications:

JOB SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
* Receive, prepare, and set-up samples for analysis
* Enter data, choose analyses, log and approve samples using a LIMS database on a Windows computer workstation
* Process and maintain client samples at correct temperatures
* Segregate samples according to FSNS procedures
* Assist with shipping of customer supplies including return coolers to customers
* Communicate with clients for clarification on orders as needed
* Follow assigned series of processes, procedures and/or techniques in accordance with FSNS policies/procedures and customer requirements
* Maintain laboratory conditions including equipment, supplies, quality assurance programs and accurate records throughout all procedures

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

POSITION SUMMARY

THE POSITION
As a Shipping/Facilities Associate, you will primarily work in the Shipping department but also support the ESH/Facilities Specialist in assisting with duties for the Snowdrift Road building internally and externally.
Shipping Associate
Primary duty is to utilize SAP to process data uploaded to the computer for product that needs to be packed.
Pack individual or master cartons per customer/warehouse requirements while maintaining accurate counts.
Operate packaging equipment used to support packaging process.
Palletize, label, weigh and wrap outbound shipments.
Accurately pick and count product from storage locations for production and/or shipping.
Maintain a clean working environment utilizing the 5S program.
Use a handheld RF device as needed.
Operate pallet jack for shipment fulfillment.
Follow all safety and OSHA guidelines to ensure all safety requirements are met.
Perform all other activities as directed by your supervisor.
Facilities Associate
Assist with minor repairs, installations, or removal of equipment or furniture.
Update/maintain work orders.
Assist with minor facility cosmetic installations, repairs, or upgrades.
Assist in maintaining facility operations and security.
Assist with building systems management (i.e., sprinkler system)..
Assist with internal audit checklist for maintenance of housekeeping, landscaping, and needed repair services.
