THE OPPORTUNITY Silvus is seeking a Shipping Associate to manage outbound shipments, including inspection, packing, and paperwork. This role also involves handling inventory, coordinating transportation, and ensuring timely deliveries. This position reports to the Shipping Manager and is fully onsite, Monday through Friday, with a start time of 8:00 am. Coordinate transportation and carrier services to ensure timely delivery schedules. Perform other related duties as necessary. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS High School diploma or GED required. Minimum 1 year of experience using systems and software like FedEx, UPS, and DHL. Experience in shipping, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Experience shipping commercial goods to international destinations. Highly proficient in Google Suite and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Prior experience in a fast-paced office environment, meeting multiple deadlines. NOTE - Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, or U.S. Permanent Resident) due to clients under U.S. federal contracts.
