Shipping Department
The Material Inventory Specialist (MIS) role is responsible for receiving, verifying, counting, sorting, putting-away, and pulling material in support of production operations at various Solar facilities. Job Duties
* Receive, verify, sort, store, issue, stage, palletize, move, dispatch and ship materials, parts, tools, assemblies in and out of Solar warehouse locations and facilities as assigned.
* Typical materials, inventory and warehousing transactions performed and recorded include: pick and pack product or materials, quality check of outbound and inbound orders for accuracy, process parts for shipping, process returns, conduct daily physical cycle counts as directed, replenish stock from back-up locations, set up of new locations, receiving and put-away functions, process warehouse to warehouse transfers.
* Perform all related data input requirements necessary to comply with inventory records accuracy requirements as required.
