COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

PERFORMANCE ABILITY
Strong knowledge of traffic and shipping area to make decisions on shipping and freight to keep costs low while ensuring orders are shipped to customers timely and according to customer specifications. Collaborates with other departments and vendors to resolve errors and customer complaints. Analyzes shipping and freight system process flow and recommends process improvements and expense reduction. Demonstrated ability to consistently meet quality, safety and efficiency goals. Excellent problem solving skills. Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to effectively relate to team members from various backgrounds. Safely operates all Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and equipment. Demonstrated ability through certification to work as a Material Handler I or Material Handler II in Roselle and Bloomingdale 391 and 395 warehouses. When assigned to work at the Bloomingdale manufacturing facilities, ability to work at both 391 AND 395 locations.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute percentages.

Good attention to detail skills required. Basic computer and data entry skills required. Promotes teamwork, possesses a good attitude, and exhibits flexibility and willingness to perform tasks. Must be a self-starter, demonstrate strong initiative and work well independently. Ability to collaborate with others, multi-task and have ability to meet deadlines, work in a fast paced environment and ability to travel between facilities.
Ability to operate and earn certifications in various PIT (Powered Industrial Trucks), such as Dock Stocker, Picker, Turret, Sit down and Reach trucks.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Oracle required.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends to support the business.

The employee is required to access product on floor or low shelves; and to operate a hand truck or forklift with a 24 inch step. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and depth perception. Ability to go to heights of up to 26 feet when operating PIT.
RSL ORDER FULFILLMENT DOCK UTILITY/RSL LTL FUNCTION/RSL STOCKING:
The employee must regularly lift, move (in some cases drag items), raise and/or place:
Palletize boxes and unload conveyor onto trailer - Lift up to 65 lbs. from floor to 36 inches and return to floor.
Lift product on/off shelves - Lift up to 65 lbs. from 36 inch height, carry 3 feet and return to 36 inch height. Lift up to 20 lbs. from 36 inches to 5 feet shelf. Kneel and reach overhead.
Move cart with product - Push a cart loaded with up to 100 lbs. up to 20 feet.
Pick product from above conveyor belt - Reach at 5 foot height to arm's length with either or both arms.
Move pallet jacks - Push and pull with force of up to 42 lbs. at 36 inch height.

This position works in all areas of NOW's manufacturing facilities with direct exposure to ingredients (powders and liquids), mixes (powders and liquids), equipment, and packaging.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately loud, and in some areas where louder hearing protection is required.
