Responsibilities
Receiving:
Unload incoming shipments of automotive parts.
Verify the quantity and condition of received items against purchase orders and invoices.

Shipping:

Responsibilities:

Deliver parts to technicians or part recipient; pull orders for counter persons when necessary.
Maintain clean and organized work area; all materials stored below the counter area.
Immediately notify parts manager of damaged parts or shortages.
Answer telephone and greet customers in a friendly and professional manner in accordance with Incoming Telephone Call (ITC) standards.
Complete all applicable Lithia and manufacturer training required for certification
Sweep floors and empty trash containers daily, and maintain a clean parts department
Maintain clean delivery vehicle. Drive cautiously and safely staying within the laws of the road.

We are offering a promotional $1,000 sign-on bonus! The minimum starting pay for our Receiving Specialist in Kailua-Kona is $18.90 per hour to $22.25 per hour. HPM Building Supply in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii is seeking to hire a full-time Receiving Specialist to save the day by being responsible for efficiently and accurately shipping and receiving freight through internal/external freight carriers in a fast-paced work environment. The Receiving Specialist receives and merchandises incoming products and completes all necessary paperwork in a timely manner.
The typical schedule for this Receiving Specialist position is:
* Monday-Friday, 5:00 am - 2:00 pm
* Some overtime may be required
QUALIFICATIONS
* Knowledge of receiving and inventory is preferred
* Previous forklift knowledge is helpful
* Basic computer skills
* Ability to work in our outdoor warehouse in various weather conditions
* Must be able to twist, bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder, and stand for extended periods of time
* Ability to lift 50 lbs with or without a reasonable accommodation

The Warehouse Specialist's primary responsibility is to receive, store, order and issue equipment, materials, supplies, merchandise and tools.
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage, issue and order Inventory. Utilize Yardi management system to manage, issue and order all inventory and equipment as per guidelines. Ensure that warehouse(s) are properly stocked and inventory levels are maintained in accordance with the current maintenance activities of the project. Ensure that company policies are followed for purchasing, receiving and stocking materials.
Responsible for ensuring safe, clean and tidy warehouse and maintenance facilities and comply with proper safety and environmental policies for storage and recording and reporting requirements (including Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for all materials).
Maintain tool and equipment logs for all Project owned tools. Ensure all are maintained in working order. Inform Maintenance Manager of Director of Maintenance of tool and equipment requirements.
Support regular warehouse and vehicle inventories in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Generate timely and accurate reports as required.
Maintain refuse and recycling collections for maintenance operations.
Support Maintenance operations with Rental Equipment if necessary.
May place orders for special orders to support COM and Service.
Position Requirements:
High School diploma or GED required; Vocational or Technical training preferred
One year work-related experience required
Must have a current vehicle license in good standing and meet the driving records standards outlined in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy
Experience with computer systems required, including web-based applications and some Microsoft applications which include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access
Must be able to read, write, understand and speak English in order to understand basic instructions and take direction from supervisors
