The Shipping/Fulfillment Support Technician is responsible for pulling, packing, and shipment of finished goods inventory. This position processes daily shipments to ensure customer receives necessary products in the time desired. They will adhere to company standards for quality and job parameters, while maintaining a professional and team oriented behavior and attitude. Essential Functions: * Shipments of finished goods inventory * Operate automated shrink-wrap machine. * Palletize finished product and shrink wrap for inventory, storage, and distribution with the use of RF scanning. * Performs minor adjustments on shrink-wrap machine to accommodate different products. * Process incoming pick tickets and purchase orders. * Communicate with customer service team. * Process all documentation needed to ensure accuracy of shipments. * Package product in a neat and protective way to insure product arrives without being damaged in transportation. * Process packing list, bill of lading, and shipment documentation. * Communicate with truck lines to determine best method of shipment. * Apply identifying information and shipping instructions onto skid shipments. * Post weights, shipping charges and affixes postage. * Conducts periodic cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy for raw materials and finished goods. * Organization of fulfillment / shipping area. * Receive and stock racks with daily production of product in designated areas in fulfillment. * Rotate incoming inventory with existing inventory to ensure the oldest inventory is sent first. * Keep aisles and floors clean and clear to maintain safety standards of company. * Stage outgoing shipments in designated areas. * Takes precautions to protect equipment, property and product against loss. * Suggests improvements to fulfillment procedures, and acts to improve quality, timeliness or reduce costs. * Adheres to all quality control processes and procedures and actively supports the company's internal audit program. * Operates forklift to move shipments from shipping-and-receiving platform to outgoing trucks, storage or work area. * Individual must be able to complete any reasonable request of management necessary to effectively operate the department/company. * Individual must be able to work independently with minimal guidance required. This implies good time management, planning/organization, and decision-making skills. * Individual must be able to interact effectively with a wide variety of people in a wide variety of settings, possessing strong communication skills, maintaining flexibility, objectivity and a capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. * Participation and support of 5S initiatives and activities. What You Will Do: * Accurately pick aerospace parts and components from inventory locations based on sales order specifications and pick lists. * Verify part numbers, quantities, and descriptions against order requirements to prevent errors. * Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and/or ERP systems to track inventory and order status. (SAP experience preferred) * Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks, forklifts - if applicable, specify training requirements) safely and efficiently to retrieve and move materials. * Conduct visual inspections of components for damage or defects during the picking process and report any discrepancies. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the picking area. * Collaborate with the packaging and shipping teams to ensure a smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment. * Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and aerospace industry regulations (e.g., AS9100, FAA guidelines). * Assist with inventory counts and cycle counting as needed. * May assist with other shipping department duties, such as packing or labeling, when required. Qualifications You Must Have: * High school diploma with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a high school diploma or GED, 4 years of relevant experience is required. * Must be a US Citizen Qualifications We Prefer: * Experience in the aerospace or similar highly regulated manufacturing industry is a significant plus. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential. * Ability to read and interpret sales orders, part numbers, and product specifications. * Basic computer proficiency, including experience with WMS, ERP systems, or inventory management software. * Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods. * Excellent communication and teamwork skills. * Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. * Understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing or warehouse setting. * Previous experience with aerospace components or high-value, sensitive materials. * Familiarity with AS9100 quality standards. * SAP operating system experience.
