Operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift in loading and unloading supplies and equipment. May assist in routine maintenance of equipment and shipping area. May lock warehouse and set alarms. Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards. Leads, guides, and trains employees performing related work. Requirements Required Skills/Abilities: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand instructions given in English. Intermediate math skills including but not limited to addition and subtraction of fractions are required. Ability to work 8-12 hour shifts or other work schedules as determined by business need, including overtime as required. Preferred Skills/Abilities: Manufacturing or food production experience. Basic computer skills are preferred. Ability to receive, stock, and/or deliver goods. Experience with lot control and traceability. Knowledge of postal or commercial shipping methods and procedures. Knowledge of sanitation, GMPs, and general food safety and quality. Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork. Ability to read, sort, check, count, and verify numbers. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required, technical, or vocational training preferred. 2-3 years' experience in shipment of hazardous goods.
