Inbound: Unload trucks, trailers, containers of freight, counting products, compare to manifest to check all shipments for damage, infestation, or production code dates. Material handlers must report shortages, damages, and mis-shipments on appropriate forms. Also be able to sign for inbound shipments when necessary. All inbound shipments are moved safely to storage locations to be efficiently stacked as store merchandise.
Order Picking: Ensure that the correct product number, quantity and type (lot, batch, serial number) of product are picked. Transport orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms with material handling equipment such as but not limited to fork trucks, cherry pickers, or pallet jacks. Materials handlers must be able to label, stencil, tag, mark orders, band, bundle, wrap, over-pack, and palletize as required.
Outbound: Compare quantity, labeling and address with order to ensure out-going shipments are complete and correct. Assign signature for outbound as necessary. Efficiently move product, cartons and or pallets into trailers, rail cars or containers.
Equipment: Maintain equipment in a neat, clean and orderly fashion. Operate equipment safely and efficiently. Comply with company standards and OSHA requirements.
Inventory: Keep accurate records and reports. Assist in physical inventories and cycle counts. Ensure proper stock rotation. May key inventory adjustments in computer.
Other Duties: Repack or re-box cases per customer instructions. Repair and consolidate damaged goods as required. Operate shrink-wrap machine. Charge forklift battery as needed; stack and or separate good from bad pallets when necessary; clean railcars, trailers, and truck docks, bays as requested.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Pay Transparency:

Job Duties
Process customer shipping documents in Job Boss including pack list, pick list and BOL (bills of lading).
Complete all customer ASN's (Advance Shipping Notice) before the end of shift. Ensure all information is accurately transmitted without grief from customer.
Ensure all skids & cartons are accurately counted and labeled prior to loading the carrier.
Performs inventory transactions & make material adjustments (location to location).
Print all customer labels for packages, cartons, skids, tubs and returnable containers.
Prepares paperwork for accounting department to process export documentation for international shipments.
Assist with processing receiving paperwork from outside services.
Process Fed-Ex and UPS documentation online for overnight and expedite shipments.
Assist with processing / packaging customer expedites.
Assist with packing parts as necessary.
Verifies that all shipping paperwork is accurate and complete before forwarding to customer service and accounting.
Immediately notify Customer Service if product is in jeopardy of not shipping.
Review all daily shipping requirements from Customer Service.

The Shipping Clerk is responsible for coordinating and processing all outbound shipments from the facility, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with both domestic and international shipping requirements. This role supports inventory accuracy, carrier coordination, and export compliance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
Responsibilities
Prepare and process domestic and international shipments, including invoices, packing slips, labels, and customs documentation.
Monitor outbound shelves to ensure orders are properly picked and ready for shipment.
Verify shipment accuracy by confirming inventory reductions, serial numbers, and packing lists.
Process shipments in accordance with customer specifications and company standards.
Coordinate with carriers (UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc.) to schedule pickups and ensure on-time delivery.
Ensure compliance with export regulations and customs requirements for all international shipments.
Select appropriate packaging based on order size, contents, and shipping method.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shipping area.
Monitor and replenish shipping supplies, including cartons, packing materials, and labels.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 2 years of shipping and receiving experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Working knowledge of domestic and international shipping processes, including export/import documentation and regulations.
Proficiency with shipping software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification.
Strong organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
