Position Summary:

First Shift (7a-330p) Monday through Friday
Job Responsibilities:
Loading and unloading trucks and moving finished goods/raw materials throughout facilities, including the use of fork trucks.
Printing labels and SDS sheets from the WERCS software system.
Assist in tracking material inventory and performing inventory counts.
Store and retrieve raw materials, finished goods, and supplies in the warehouse.
Clean up spills of non-hazardous items.
Prepare drums/bins for shipment.
Assist in investigating customer complaints.
Assist in maintaining a clean and safe facility through performance of general housekeeping duties.
Loading and unloading tankers.
Inspect drums, bins, etc. for shipment.
Communicate late shipments to customer care representative.
Make UPS and FedEx shipments.
Confirm paperwork is complete for all shipments and correct when needed.
Load containerized and bulk raw materials to production vessels.
Operate production equipment.
Draw off product into drums, pails and totes.
Previous shipping and receiving preferred
Tow motor certification a plus

Language Ability:
A good command of the English language is mandatory.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software; Internet software and Database software.

What You Bring
High School Diploma or GED required
1-2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, logistics, or warehouse operations
Forklift operation experience (certification a plus, or we'll train you!)
Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and be on your feet throughout your shift
Ability to work and adaptable to seasonal temperature changes in a warehouse/plant setting
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, Google Calendar, and Gmail
Understanding of inventory systems and ability to follow procedures accurately
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Safety-first mindset and attention to detail
Nice to Have
Experience in a startup or growing plant environment
Familiarity with developing or improving shipping/receiving procedures
Experience in both small and large-scale shipping/logistics operations

Job purpose
As a Warehouse Specialist, one will be responsible for all warehouse duties, including but limited to shipping, receiving, picking orders, staging, and maintaining inventory levels.
Duties and responsibilities
Shipping and receiving using Forklifts and RF guns.
Picking and staging orders for scheduled shipments.
Knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)
Ensures all guidelines of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and OSHA standards are in compliance.
Maintains a clean and sanitary warehouse which is audit ready at all times.
Assures that time commitments are met for outbound and inbound shipments.
All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Two to Three (2-3) years of previous warehouse experience.
Knowledge of WMS and Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) is preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Basic math skills.
Previous Forklift Certification preferred.
Safety Requirements
Must wear steel toed boots/shoes.
Must wear safety vest.
Physical requirements
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
