Key Job Responsibilities * Follow all regulations, standards, and internal policies, to ensure Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance and promote a safe and environmentally responsible workplace. * Check incoming manifest paperwork to ensure all details are correct. * Enter manifest information into computer system, verifying DOT descriptions, RCRA hazardous waste codes, and other details. * Create labels for waste containers using the computer-based waste tracking system. * Collaborate with the Customer Service group to resolve discrepancies. * Receive bulk loads and create rejection manifests/paperwork as necessary. * Keep organized waste shipment files, both digital and physical. * Mail TSDF-signed waste manifests back to generators. * Scan and upload billing documents and shipment records to the EPA/E-manifest system. * Upload information into the management system. * Sign manifest paperwork to facilitate truck releases and distribute manifest copies to the appropriate parties. * Perform other duties as assigned. Job Description Position: Distribution Associate II Location: Memphis,TN Duration:12 Months Job Summary Performs a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties; may work out of a central warehouse. Uses computer system for tracking logging verifying and reporting. Follows shipping practices and procedures and transportation routing schedules and requirements. Receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment. (Un)packs or (un)wraps items such as finished products raw stock assemblies parts building materials office suppliers equipment etc. Verifies quantity weight and conformance of materials to stated identifications; logs receipt of items on system processes freight bills packing sheets and other documents; reports materials shipped and bills of lading; posts weight and shipping charges and routes merchandise to destinations.
