Process railcars received by Ferraro Foods - review paperwork, print worksheets, and labels, and assign employees to unload it, and receive it. Once received, enter the order for the release of the railcar. Review and report shortages or damages from containers and railcars. Download pick-ups, process paperwork, create labels, and assign a selector to have products ready for customers to pick-up from Ferraro Foods. Backup Transportation Department as needed. Assist the Transportation Department in getting daily pick-up schedule reports and assign a route to get back hauls. Once the schedule is in place, confirm and schedule pick-up appointments by phone or email. Report to Purchasing missed pick-ups or issues related to it. Backup Router's position when needed to close routes, assigned special deliveries, door sheets, and reports for the day. Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Good written and verbal communication skills. Must be detail-oriented with good follow-up skills. Excellent organizational skills. Must be able to multi-task and handle a busy workload to meet strong deadlines.
