Collaborate with Technicians and Supervisors on part identification and usage. Place requisitions, purchase orders, amend current purchase orders by changing dates, amounts or cancel existing orders to support the needs of the department. Determine if parts need to be inventoried. Search for best price and service. Work with corporate purchasing and negotiate with supplier for best price break and delivery available. Follow up on late or incorrect deliveries. Use approved suppliers were prudent and possible to do so. + Approve or disapprove invoices for repair and/or services. Communicate weekly with accounting to establish identification on repair charges. Monitor daily charges to the maintenance account and scan for non-department charges. + Monitor usage of repair parts. Identify the items that need to have min/max and minimum order quantities established.
