Requirements Key Responsibilities Inventory Counting & Accuracy Perform regular physical counts of materials and products in warehouses and storage areas. Verify quantities against system records and report any discrepancies to the Inventory Coordinator or Supervisor. Tag, label, or organize materials to maintain clear and accurate identification. Assist with cycle counts, audits, and full physical inventory processes. Data Entry & Recordkeeping Record quantities, locations, and item details using basic inventory or warehouse management systems. Support updates to stock records and help maintain organized documentation. Communicate any low stock levels or irregularities promptly. Warehouse & Material Handling Safely move, stage, or organize materials as needed for counting and verification. Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth material flow. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, orderly workspace. Qualifications & Skills High attention to detail and accuracy in counting and recordkeeping. Basic computer skills and comfort using Excel or inventory software. Ability to lift and move materials as needed. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Prior experience in inventory, warehousing, or materials handling is required Prior experience in the lumber or building/construction industry is required Ability to travel regularly (including overnight stays as needed). Valid driver's license and ability to meet travel requirements. Must be based within a reasonable commuting distance of Sparrows Point, MD.
