The SRS will track inventory, keep accurate records of packaging and weighing items, develop shippers, printing shipping labels, inspect goods and distribute products to other departments. Job Duties and Responsibilities Prepare required paperwork, package parts appropriately and use the correct shipping method to ship parts to the customer. Reference the “Customer Requirements” Book, customer purchase order and internal job routing. Check the current delivery schedule and ship parts to meet customer requirements. Create and print packing list. Assemble packing list and required documentation. Package parts appropriately to prevent damage during shipment. Arrange shipping method as necessary. The Shipping / Receiving Clerk is responsible for shipping and receiving product at the Retail Store. This position has no direct supervisory authority and reports to the Store Manager. In addition to the Essential Functions and Responsibilities below, this position may also require help with load outs, break down freight, bring shopping carts in, etc. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Receive merchandise into warehouse area. Cross check quantities to packing slip, making corrections as necessary. Safe operation of merchandise handling equipment. Responsible for accurate allocation of merchandise to splitting area or department. Load merchandise onto proper truck for shipment, shrink wrap when necessary. General maintenance of equipment. Practice safety in the workplace by using safe work habits. Other duties as assigned.

What does the job entail? • Taping boxes, placing labels, palletizing products, and loading merchandise according to department/company standards. • Inspecting materials, products, containers, and manifests in the shipping process. • Transporting products using hand carts, pallet jacks, etc., and handling all packages, including accepting and signing for deliveries from distributors. • Organizing and planning outbound orders. • Maintaining storeroom inventory and organization, including sorting materials according to characteristics such as size, type, style, and product code under FIFO (First-In-First-Out) procedures. • Making labels for each order, properly banding, wrapping, and labeling finished pallets. • Recycling materials and keeping the area clean. • Pulling and staging orders, assisting with receiving and unloading incoming material, and assisting with inventory organization and counts. • Monitoring shipping schedules and adjusting as needed to meet customer delivery requirements. • Maintaining inventory levels and assisting with stock management to prevent shortages or overstock situations. • Resolving shipping discrepancies and customer issues in a timely manner. • Analyzing shipping data and preparing reports to identify trends and improve processes. Shift Schedule: Monday through Friday 6:00am-2:30pm, with possible overtime.
