Job Description
Responsible for helping in all daily functions related to the receiving, warehousing and direct issuance of goods and services received at the property or properties assigned. The Receiver must have average working knowledge of receiving and warehousing operations. Receiver must have average knowledge of all functions as related to the receiving process - specifically printing receiving worksheets, creating Receivers, Purchase Order research, Vendor research, and historical research.
Assist in the unloading of goods from delivery trucks
Responsible for following all processes and procedures of the receiving dock including but not limited to proper receipt of product, delivery of product, and resolving discrepancies with deliveries.
Compare invoices and/or delivery documents provided by the vendor to the Purchase Order to verify quantity, and quality, are correct. This may involve the weighing of product, counting, and sorting of product to ensure product meets Boyd Gaming specifications and standards.
Spot check product with catch weights using the scale provided at dock. Print verified weights on receiving worksheet using scale printer.
Resolve delivery discrepancies - have delivery document changed by the driver so that invoice or delivery documents are correct before signing.
Accurately update receiving documents in the purchasing system.
Transport product to appropriate location (e.g., warehouse, refrigerator, freezer, food & beverage outlets, etc.)
Assist fellow team members with checking in, stocking, rotating, and organizing product, as needed
Responsible for following all processes and procedures of the warehouse including but not limited to filling issue requisitions, updating issue requisitions, delivery of product to all outlets, proper rotation of stock ensuring FIFO is in place, responding to the needs of all outlets and departments.
Ensure all Non-PO packages (guest packages, samples, warranty work etc.) are logged accurately and legibly on the package/freight log sheets.
Ensure proper signature(s) are obtained on the issue requisition(s) at delivery of product.
Deliver products/orders (including freight), to the appropriate departments/outlets, as needed

The Shipping Specialist is responsible for ensuring regulatory agency compliance for product shipments from any EPT location, as requested, including transfer of material between facilities as it relates to proper handling, labeling, packaging, classifications, and accurate shipping documents. About The Role
The Specialist, Shipping and receiving position will serve as the lead for site packaging/shipping needs.
Ensures that packages are shipped according to required laws and guidelines, including availability of permits as needed.
Ensures that chain of custody is maintained during all parts of the packaging/shipping process.
Schedules and monitors shipments for internal and external clients.
Works in collaboration with the various departments as required.
What You'll Do Here
Package and ship according to local, State, Federal, and international laws and guidelines as set forth by the International Air Transport Association (lATA).
Ensure that relevant permits and licenses are up to date for Imports and Exports of various Biological and Chemical materials. Including, but not limited to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), UFWS (United States Fish and Wildlife Service), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), and similar regulatory agencies worldwide.
Working knowledge of all aspects of USA import and export processes, including a strong understanding of information required to produce Customs Invoices.
Monitor inbound and outbound shipments and conform to chain of custody protocols and guidelines. This includes addressing any issues promptly as they come up during the transit/regulatory inspection process and ensuring that internal/external customers are kept informed.
Ensure that the Cold/Cool Chain is not broken when shipping temperature-controlled packages.
Responsible for data entry and inventory management for shipments leaving the facility and producing the necessary documentation for shipments leaving all departments. This includes assisting with Clinical Kit distribution process as required.
Maintain excellent customer service for internal and external clients, ensuring high levels of communication is maintained throughout the processes. Complete and provide shipping documentation to clients as necessary.
Help coordinate and manage Couriers, Freight Forwarders, and Integrators as necessary,
Maintain adequate stock levels, and an accurate inventory of shipping supplies, including equipment and packaging.
Ensure that equipment and supplies for use in shipping have been appropriately calibrated and/or qualified as required by site procedures.
Operate various warehouse related equipment, including but not limited to a pallet jack, mechanical lift, carts, etc.
Perform general housekeeping duties, and follow all safety procedures
Perform all other related duties as assigned.
Recommend new systems, procedures, and technologies to improve productivity and increase efficiency within the team.
Must regularly move about inside the work area to access file cabinets and office machinery.

What You'll Need to Succeed
High School minimum, College degree preferred.
Multiple years working in international shipping arena, preferably within healthcare logistics, pharma or Specialist Freight Forwarding industry, with experience working within GxP environments and the shipping of temperature sensitive materials internationally.
Strong communication and organizational skills, proven ability to multitask at an expert level while maintaining a strong level of attention to detail, computer literacy with email, and Microsoft Office Suite is a must. Experience with classifications via the Harmonized System is a asset.
Tariff Schedule as well as rules surrounding valuing product for Customs purposes is preferred.
