What will you do as a Warehouse Worker?
As part of the Operations Team, the Warehouse Worker is responsible for pulling orders based on pick tickets to accurately build orders for loading onto delivery trucks. This position is also responsible for general duties involving physical handling of product, materials, supplies and equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Pull orders based on pick tickets to accurately build orders for loading onto delivery trucks.
Responsible for cleanliness and organization of warehouse area and production equipment.
Monitor all product that is both incoming and outgoing for accountability accuracy.
Restock and replenish as appropriate.
Operate industrial power equipment.
Stage completed pallets in designated area.
Transport raw materials, full goods and/or finished goods to designated area.
Load and unload designated trailers and/or route trucks.

About the role
This is an on-call position, ideal for those looking for flexible work without a set schedule. You'll be notified typically 24-48 hours in advance when a shift is available, allowing you to balance this job with other commitments. If you are free to come in for 4+ hours of an open shift, you'll let us know and we'll schedule you! Our core business hours are Monday through Friday between 8am-4pm (and we occasionally offer a Saturday shift).
Casual Warehouse Workers are responsible for assisting the warehouse team with the efficient and accurate fulfillment of orders. This includes assembling boxes and bundles of order (i.e. kitting orders), completing bulk printed orders of singles, and other fulfillment tasks in accordance with our standard operating procedures. Casual Warehouse Workers work with the Fulfillment Manager, Inventory Supervisor and Packer Specialists to complete assigned tasks.
What you'll do while you're here
Pack and label orders following appropriate company procedures;
Prepare products for shipment, including mug rolling and box building;
Ensure packing stations are kept neat, orderly, and trash emptied daily;
Adhere to inventory control procedures to prevent the loss of product through damage, aging, or theft;
Perform work activities in accordance with our Safety Policy and Procedures;
Other duties as assigned.

What will you do as a Warehouse Worker - Part-Time?
As part of the Operations Team, the Warehouse Worker is responsible for pulling orders based on pick tickets to accurately build orders for loading onto delivery trucks. This position is also responsible for general duties involving physical handling of product, materials, supplies and equipment.

Job DescriptionDescription:
SCHEDULE: Full Time Hours (8:30AM - 5:00PM), Monday - Friday
This position will be actively involved with the movement of product from receiving, replenishment, internal/external shipments, transfers, local vendors, and special events on the dayshift along with other minor logistics related to Warehousing/Delivery. The qualified individual will be involved in supporting the nightshift activities as needed.
KEY ACTIVITIES
Warehouse Duties and Responsibilities:
Participate in shipping, receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, rotation, check-in, repacking, and security of products; Familiar with the expectation of proper rotation of all products during receiving, replenishment, picking, repacking, and returns activities. Learn to utilize the eo Star operating systems and its components.
Participate in the removal of shrink wrap from all picking pallets.
Maintain credible and equitable standards established by Supervisor.
Shared responsibility in the control of damage and minimizing loss.
Ensure that rows are stocked at appropriate levels.
Participate in practical application of safety and maintenance polices as they apply to company operations; Keep warehouse clean and ensure that all trash is picked up.
Move and change product locations as needed.
Keep pick areas stocked and with proper signage.
Ensure that all equipment is fully charged for the next shift.
Participate with weekly inventories (or as needed).
Is an advocate for a positive workplace environment and is committed to ensuring a complete and thorough job is done.

Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS
Any combination equivalent to the following education and experience that would provide the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities would qualify. A typical way to obtain the knowledge, skills and abilities would be:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
Experience operating a fork lift is a plus.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSAs)
General understanding of warehouse logistics and material handling.
Ability to lift/carry/move 35 lbs. (maximum of 160 lbs.).
Ability to stand for extended periods of time (including bending, reaching, lifting, pulling, etc.).
Ability to operate forklift, pallet jack, squeeze, blade, and scissor lift.
Ability to understand and demonstrate knowledge of warehouse lay-out, product location set-up, and rotation of product.
Basic computer skills and ability to utilize warehouse specific tools to track inventory.
Familiar with night shift order selecting activities.
Understand team dynamics and demonstrate productive communication skills through work history.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, vendors, other governmental agencies, and the public, as appropriate.
Ability to work on own initiative; Ability to handle wide range of tasks.
Understand and effectively communicate Summit Beverage's organizational mission and goals.

Seeing: Must be able to read bin location labels, product descriptions, read off tablet and handheld devices. (75-100% of the time)
Hearing: Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with fellow employees, hear voice pick commands. Must be able to hear horn/alarms while in warehouse. (75-100% of the time)

Working Environment:
