We are seeking a dedicated Distribution Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing the distribution of products and ensuring that all shipments are processed efficiently and accurately. Key Responsibilities
Enter and verify receipts, shipments, transfers, and adjustments in Oracle.
Obtain products from inventory to fill orders and carefully identify information and quantities
Receives and unloads incoming components and compare quantities shown on packing slips to items received
Ensure all inventory movements are recorded accurately and in real time.
Assist with daily cycle counts and inventory reconciliations.
Maintain organized records of shipping documents, BOLs, and packing slips.
Enter components received into computerized inventory system according to instructions.
Prepare and verify labels, documentation, and packaging for outbound shipments.
Check inbound shipments against packing lists to confirm quantities and product accuracy.
Communicating effectively with supervisor leads to supporting production and order priorities.
Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and adherence to 5S standards.
Assist with data collection and reporting to support KPI tracking. Safety & Compliance
Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including PPE and equipment operation.
Report unsafe conditions, damaged materials, or system discrepancies immediately.

Qualifications

Inventory Control Title Inventory Control Clerk Department(s) Hartsville Facility Reports to Materials Manager * This position is responsible for maintaining the integrity of our inventory using JD Edwards Enterprise 1 ERP (JDE E1) for three facilities. This includes:
* · Maintaining basic finished goods and sub-assembly data
* · Cycle counting, the physical inventory process, and maintaining the manufacturing cost system for new items.
* · A key component of this role is developing reports to find inventory errors and finding solutions to prevent future errors.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
* Schedule and conduct cycle count inventory processes to ensure accuracy; includes raw materials, finished goods, and WIP.
* Organize data using E1 and Cognos reports and/or spreadsheets to develop reports and charts of inventory accuracy and causes of errors
* Develops, leads, and implements action items focused on increased inventory accuracy
* Review, analyze and adjust inventory discrepancies
* Work closely with Shipping, Warehouse and Production Teams to ensure inventory accuracy
* Lead the annual physical inventory process
* Schedules, chairs or participates in meetings concerning production planning and inventory control.
* Other Duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
* 2+ years' experience in a similar position involving inventory analysis, supply chain, logistics or materials management
* Proven time management skills with the ability to respond to time-critical issues and adapt to change in a dynamic and fast paced environment
* Comfortable using a PC with computer software packages as well as communicating effectively via email and phone
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Able to lift and carry up to 50lbs
