Shipping & Receiving AssociateSchedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM (Some overtime required) Pay: $17-$19 per hour, based on experience We are seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our warehouse team. This role is essential to keeping our production operations running smoothly and safely.Key Responsibilities:
Operate a sit-down forklift (REQUIRED) to move materials and products throughout the warehouse
Pull materials for production lines
Load and unload trucks
Stage outbound orders for shipment
Receive materials into the Ross database
Generate, apply, and verify labels
Wrap pallets and rotate inventory
Follow proper handling and storage protocols for all chemicals
Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, floor scrubbing, and dusting
Assist on the production line as needed
Requirements:
Sit-down forklift experience is required
Previous shipping/receiving or warehouse experience
Ability to consistently lift 55 lbs
Strong attention to detail and safety
Willingness to support production operations as needed

Job Description - Responsible for preparing and shipping products on skids and in boxes via LTL carriers, UPS, and FedEx, while ensuring all orders are accurately fulfilled. Hours are M-F 8:00AM - 4:30PM.
Responsibilities & Duties
Operate a forklift safely and efficiently (training provided).
Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections on the forklift.
Accurately and independently pick and prepare orders for shipment.
Ship orders with precision and efficiency.
Communicate effectively with carriers, Customer Service Representatives (CSRs), and management.
Lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Locate and manage inventory throughout the warehouse.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Experience in shipping & receiving preferred but not required
Basic math, computer and proof-reading skills
Attention to detail
Ability to problem solve and communicate clearly with production & shipping dept.
Work well independently
Willing to cross train on various equip
Must be able to stand 8-10 hours per day.

Summary description:
Load/unload trucks, verifying accuracy of manifests, packing lists, or orders against parts and count of pieces.
Ensure all outgoing materials are appropriately and accurately marked.
Use appropriate material handling equipment to transfer material from work station to work station.
Maintain holding and storage areas in a neat and organized fashion.
Pack, seal, and label, and prepare materials for shipping as directed.
Complete required paperwork.
Comply with all safety and work rules.
Skills/Qualifications:
Accuracy and attention to detail
Good measuring and math skills
Tow motor experience with the ability to pass company certification
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Walking and standing up to 10 hours per day, ability to stoop, bend, kneel, reach, pull, and frequently lift up to 75-100 pounds, and other physical labor requirements that coincide with assigned job duties.
