This role is critical to maintaining accurate inventory, ensuring timely deliveries, and supporting overall warehouse efficiency. Responsibilities: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists Create supplier shipping documents meeting all LH Battery and Government regulations Prepare outgoing shipments according to company and carrier standards to ensure 100% on-time shipping to customer plant Maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS) Coordinate with carriers and vendors to schedule pickups and deliveries Label, sort, and organize inventory in designated storage areas Conduct routine cycle counts and assist with full inventory audits Create and maintain accurate records for the container yard Manage critical ship times, production schedules, and return packaging to ensure no impact to upstream and downstream customers Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies Communicate discrepancies, damages, or delays to appropriate departments Support other warehouse functions as needed Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in logistics or relevant fields 1-3 years of experience in shipping, receiving Forklift certification preferred Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across various teams. Familiarity with ERP systems and material tracking software, with a focus on internal inventory management. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy. Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 1:00 pm The receiving and inventory control associate will be responsible for managing incoming deliveries by verifying and signing for shipments, unloading and storing the received items, delivering items/product to the correct requestor/department, processes all paperwork in a timely manner, and ensures that safety regulations are met. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Required: * Consistently arrives at work, in uniform/appropriate/professional attire and completes all tasks within established time frame * The ideal candidate will possess previous experience with shipping and receiving or a related position. * Knowledge in the procedures of shipping and receiving. * Direct customer interaction is frequently required and excellent customer service skills are required. * Strong computer skills, data entry, Microsoft Office and CMMS is a plus. * Detail oriented, flexible, and exhibit effective prioritization and multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment. * Proficient verbal and written communication skills. * Works in a time effective manner and follows systematic approaches and conducts appropriate follow-up. * Utilizes creative thinking skills to identify problems and develop solutions. * Works effectively both independently and as a team. * Experience working in a medical office environment. * Ability to safely operate manual / electric pallet jack. * This role requires standing for long periods of time, kneeling, pushing, reaching, stooping/twisting, climbing, crouching, grasping/gripping, pulling, reaching overhead, and squatting. * Seeks appropriate tasks when primary tasks are completed and assists co-workers as needed. * Demonstrates adaptability to expanded roles. * Must have a valid driver's license. * Adheres to all clinic policies and procedures.
