Job title: Shipping Clerk Company: Champion Personnel Core Duties and Responsibilities: · Create shipping list and schedule truck pickups. · Create shipping documents. · Ship orders and print invoices from Great Plains. · Maintain customer bar coding requirements. · Answer incoming customer inquiries. · Stay current on changes to UPS Shipping software. · Stay current on any changes with freight company requirements. · All other duties that may be assigned. Standards Within the Position: · Accurately invoice customers for the product they were shipped. · Properly charge customer on credit card software and record amount on invoice. · Using completed orders, schedule truck s for pick-ups. · Ensure that all required bar codes are attached to boxes being shipped. · Working knowledge of the shipping and invoice functions in Great Plains. · Accurately charge customers for items shipped out of UPS Computer. · Use proper phone etiquette when speaking with customers, freight companies, and vendors. · Verify that the product is shipped to the correct customer per their specifications. · Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
