Jon Summary: The Pharmacy Inventory Manager is responsible for the direct purchasing of materials necessary to dispense medications to long term care patients. Duties/Responsibilities: Evaluate available supply channels to increase product value and reduce dispensing costs Negotiate contracts with outside vendors Establish appropriate purchasing guidelines Analyze and assess demand for new facilities Log and record all invoices and purchasing orders Monitor inventory and turns of pharmacy items Follow current policies and help to Develop and implement purchasing policies and procedures Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
