Summary
Under the responsibility of the Manager, the Supervisor Logistics is responsible to supervise, coordinate and oversee the logistics operations and provide coaching, development and training to the staff members. Identify and communicate product or personnel issues to the Department Supervisor promptly.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company standards.
Monitor departmental KPIs and assist in driving improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
Participate in or lead continuous improvement projects within the department.
Ensure proper documentation and transaction of inventory in the ERP system (D365).
Ensure accurate tracking and disposal of scrap materials.
Communicate shipping status, delays, or urgent issues with the Department Supervisor daily.
Support training and onboarding new full-time and temporary employees within the department.
Monitor and report on inventory and supplies (e.g., boxes, pallets, packaging materials).
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all safety procedures and protocols. Assist with department opening and securing procedures as assigned.
Qualifications:
