Shook Construction CEO and leadership

Chris began his career at Shook as a Co-op and has spent the past 23 years learning all facets of the construction business. Chris has worked in general contracting, construction management, design-build and program management roles both on public and private projects. He is active in several industry organizations, including the Construction Employers Association (CEA), the Associated General Contractors of Ohio (AGC), COGENCE Alliance, the Cleveland Engineering Society (CES) and the American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE). Chris enjoys the relationship aspects of the business and takes pride in helping small and diverse businesses grow.

Chris serves as President & CEO for Shook, responsible for the overall strategic direction and results of the organization. He is a graduate of The University of Dayton School of Engineering with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree. Chris is a registered Professional Engineer in The State of Ohio, a LEED Accredited Professional BD+C, and a LEAN Six Sigma Yellow Belt. He is a native Clevelander with residences in Willoughby and Oakwood, Ohio, is married and has an 10-year-old daughter and a 7-year-old son.
