**Requirements / Qualifications:**
* Performs the preventative and day-to-day maintenance and repair on heavy-duty tractors and forklifts.
* Perform day-to-day administrative duties.
* All repairs and major repairs on trucks and forklifts.
* Truck, forklift and dry van trailer experience would be a mandatory.
* Experience with air brakes, clutches, electrical repairs PM's, lift-gates, overhead door repair, etc.
* Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of tractor/trailers (air brakes, clutches, diesel engines, lights and electrical repairs).
* Mechanic experience would be a plus
* Manager experience would be a plus
* Must have own tools

Reports problems to the service manager or dealer.

Assists technicians in developing their skills.
Fills in for service advisor

**Job Responsibilities:**
* Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair Crown and all other makes of lift trucks.
* Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks.
* Process paperwork after completion of each job
* Welding & fabrication
**Qualifications:**
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and internal combustion engines, and the ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
* Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills.
* Ability to safely operate lift trucks.
* Technical degree, previous lift truck repair, welding experience, and knowledge of various types of testing equipment preferred.
