Experience in the beverage industry is a plus
Candidate must have great attention to detail and be comfortable using computerized register system
Experience in retail field preferred.
Proficiency with computer programs is preferred - MS Excel, Word.

RN - Registered Nurse Responsibilities:
Direct and monitor the personal care duties and nursing procedures performed by Nursing Assistants on the assigned team.
Assist Nursing Assistants with direct resident care as needed.
Report unusual symptoms, changes in condition, daily needs, and resident progress to the RN Unit Manager, Assistant Unit Manager, or Charge RN Supervisor.
Follow the Plan of Care for each resident and monitor Nursing Assistants' adherence to the care plan.
Receive controlled substances from the shift Supervisory Nurse and manage all aspects of their storage and distribution; ensure proper and safe placement and use of medications stored in medication carts, stock cupboards, refrigerators, and narcotic cabinets.
Document relevant information in care plans, Nursing Notes, Medication Administration Records, Treatment Records, and other required documentation.
Monitor resident care standards during duties and promote respect for residents' rights and care preferences.
Qualifications
RN - Registered Nurse Qualifications:
Current and valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the applicable state required.

Our unique 7-week program combines a cultural immersion environment with rigorous daily classroom instruction.
Essential to the functioning of each Language School, the Bilingual Summer Staff member organizes and implements multiple facets of the academic and non-academic operations of the School; provides tutoring, co-curricular, and residential support to students; works under the supervision of the School Assistant Director and Co-Directors in the organization of School operations; and assists Faculty in all language related activities outside of the classroom.
In addition to hourly compensation, lodging and meals will be provided.
Responsibilities are grouped into seven broad areas, beginning with the most essential. An “*” next to a responsibility means that all Summer Staff will be involved in this task.
(1) Program ambassador
Serves as a primary in-language point of contact for students and faculty. Knowledgeable about the program as well as campus resources and policies.*
Actively engages with students, providing tutoring, encouragement, and support outside of class, during meals and activities and in the dorms, offices, and social spaces.*
Encourage students' commitment to the Language Pledge and the rigorous learning environment.*
Serves as official representative of the School, the Language Schools' administration, and the Middlebury community.*
(2) Student life
Represents the School administration in the dorms and social spaces, especially on evenings and weekends.*
Resides in dorms. Provides guidance and non-academic support. Monitors adherence to the Language Pledge. Organizes social activities in the dorms.*
Responds to student emergencies and urgent situations. Directs students to appropriate offices and resources, academic and non-academic.*
(3) Co-curricular activities and events
Facilitates the School's cultural program, an integral part of the immersion-based academic experience. Liaises with campus offices including but not limited to public safety, dining services, events management, media services, print shop, theater, and facilities services.*
Designs, plans, and implements complex school-wide cultural events. Assists in regular co-curricular activities, driving students in College van as needed. *
Represents director by acting as host to official guests, including lecturers, performers, visiting artists, etc.*
Assists faculty, guests, and the director at/with lectures, performances, and other events.*
Coordinates inter-school activities.
Attends program events as crowd managers and “animators” (enthusiastic leaders).*
(4) Tutoring and pedagogical support
May be asked to provide tutoring hours to assist students with homework, grammar, pronunciation, etc. Engages in conversation practice with students outside of class.*
(5) Technology
Provides general IT support for faculty, guests, and students (on School and personal devices).*
Provides curricular technology training and support for faculty.
Manages circulation of School technology, equipment, and film archive.
Provides technical support at events, from basic a/v at lectures to sound and light design at staged performances.
Provides classroom technical support, as requested by faculty.
(6) Communication
Communicates with students and faculty on a variety of platforms: email, website, social media, print media, announcements.*
Designs and edits web content, especially on instructional in-language sites.
Develops media content and disseminates publications, including calendars, newspaper, posters, event programs, etc.
Manages photography and videography. Edits photo and video content. Prepares slideshows, photo exhibits, event videos, etc.
Translates School and other official Middlebury documents.*
(7) School office
Runs the School office.
Serves as in-language point of contact for students, faculty, and guests needing drop-in assistance.
Scheduling of events and activities.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred. Advanced degree a plus.
Native or near-native proficiency in Hebrew and English, oral and written.
Demonstrated organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (both oral and written).
Ability to work with people of all ages and levels (students, professionals, and colleagues).
Must be willing to take initiative and assume responsibility, but also work collaboratively as part of a team.

The class is a hybrid training program lasting 8 weeks where participants learn the skills necessary to become and LNA and prepare to take their licensure test. Helen Porter pays for the class tuition, testing and licensure fees in agreement that participants will remain employed at Helen Porter as an LNA in full-time capacity one year.
Once participants have successfully completed the class and obtained their Nursing Assistant Licensure, they will move into a vacant, full-time LNA position with us.
What is an LNA?
LNA stands for Licensed Nursing Assistant. LNAs are important and valued members of our patient and resident care team. They work closely with residents and patients collaboratively under the direction of a LPN or RN delivering care, assisting with activities of daily living, and communicating with the team about resident changes and needs. Responsibilities may include (but are not limited to): taking vital signs, responding to call lights, Electronic Medical Record documentation, personal care, including bathing, mouth care, toileting and skin care, observing changes to resident and patient health and promoting healthy functioning of residents both physically and emotionally.

Must be at least 18 years old by date of Licensure Test
Must have High School Diploma
Completion of The LNA Training Program.

Course Information
The Nurse Assistant Trainee program prepares eligible candidates to practice as nursing assistants in providing direct patient care.
Prerequisites for the class include Internet Access and access to a computer and camera.
The online course and in-person skill class will run from for 4-8 weeks, with an additional thirty-two hours of clinicals will be scheduled in 4-8 hour shifts to be followed by LNA Testing with a date to be determined. This class provides the knowledge and skills necessary to apply for Vermont State Board of Nursing licensure as a Licensed Nursing Assistant.
Participants in the program are will be hired as full-time LNA Trainee employees of Porter Medical Center - Helen Porter Nursing Home and paid a rate of $20.52 per hour for their class time as well as time worked as an LNA Trainee and Geriatric Aid at Helen Porter.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a per diem RN, you'll provide nursing support to either our residential or community-based residential program. You'll utilize the Vermont Health & Wellness Standards, TCR regulations and Medicaid requirements to ensure care practices.
Your key responsibilities will include:
· Monitor and support clients' medical needs in collaboration with service coordinators and interdisciplinary teams across residential and community-based settings.
· Train and delegate to certified staff, following compliance standards and TCR standards.
· Provide medication administration training and delegation to certified staff in compliance with state and agency policy
· Write special care procedures and train staff as needed.
· Audit health records and documentation to ensure regulatory compliance and support continuous improvement.
· Work closely with internal teams, healthcare providers, and families to promote continuity of care
· Provide direct and emergent nursing support and consultation to ensure safe, person-centered care.
· Administer emergency medication as needed during scheduled hours.
· Provide after hour paid, on-call support for residential program, rotated among RN program staff.
WHAT YOU BRING
· Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Vermont
· Knowledge of Vermont DDSD Health & Wellness Standards, TCR rules, and HCBS requirements. Support and resources will be provided if the candidate does not have the DDSD nursing knowledge/experience.
· Strong skills in training, delegations and quality assurance.
· Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration abilities.
COMPENSATION
· The pay rate is from $31 to $38/hour commensurate with experience

The School of Hebrew (SoH) bilingual posting is for the summer 2026 session, located on the campus of Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vermont.
This is a part-time temporary non-benefits position.
Bilingual Assistant - $17.57 per hour
Lead Bilingual Assistant - $20.85 per hour
Our unique 7-week program combines a cultural immersion environment with rigorous daily classroom instruction.
Essential to the functioning of each Language School, the Bilingual Summer Staff member organizes and implements multiple facets of the academic and non-academic operations of the School; provides tutoring, co-curricular, and residential support to students; works under the supervision of the School Assistant Director and Co-Directors in the organization of School operations; and assists Faculty in all language related activities outside of the classroom.
In addition to hourly compensation, lodging and meals will be provided.
Responsibilities are grouped into seven broad areas, beginning with the most essential. An “*” next to a responsibility means that all Summer Staff will be involved in this task.
(1) Program ambassador
Serves as a primary in-language point of contact for students and faculty. Knowledgeable about the program as well as campus resources and policies.*
Actively engages with students, providing tutoring, encouragement, and support outside of class, during meals and activities and in the dorms, offices, and social spaces.*
Encourage students' commitment to the Language Pledge and the rigorous learning environment.*
Serves as official representative of the School, the Language Schools' administration, and the Middlebury community.*
(2) Student life
Represents the School administration in the dorms and social spaces, especially on evenings and weekends.*
Resides in dorms. Provides guidance and non-academic support. Monitors adherence to the Language Pledge. Organizes social activities in the dorms.*
Responds to student emergencies and urgent situations. Directs students to appropriate offices and resources, academic and non-academic.*
(3) Co-curricular activities and events
Facilitates the School's cultural program, an integral part of the immersion-based academic experience. Liaises with campus offices including but not limited to public safety, dining services, events management, media services, print shop, theater, and facilities services.*
Designs, plans, and implements complex school-wide cultural events. Assists in regular co-curricular activities, driving students in College van as needed. *
Represents director by acting as host to official guests, including lecturers, performers, visiting artists, etc.*
Assists faculty, guests, and the director at/with lectures, performances, and other events.*
Coordinates inter-school activities.
Attends program events as crowd managers and “animators” (enthusiastic leaders).*
(4) Tutoring and pedagogical support
May be asked to provide tutoring hours to assist students with homework, grammar, pronunciation, etc. Engages in conversation practice with students outside of class.*
(5) Technology
Provides general IT support for faculty, guests, and students (on School and personal devices).*
Provides curricular technology training and support for faculty.
Manages circulation of School technology, equipment, and film archive.
Provides technical support at events, from basic a/v at lectures to sound and light design at staged performances.
Provides classroom technical support, as requested by faculty.
(6) Communication
Communicates with students and faculty on a variety of platforms: email, website, social media, print media, announcements.*
Designs and edits web content, especially on instructional in-language sites.
Develops media content and disseminates publications, including calendars, newspaper, posters, event programs, etc.
Manages photography and videography. Edits photo and video content. Prepares slideshows, photo exhibits, event videos, etc.
Translates School and other official Middlebury documents.*
(7) School office
Runs the School office.
Serves as in-language point of contact for students, faculty, and guests needing drop-in assistance.
Scheduling of events and activities.
Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred. Advanced degree a plus.
Native or near-native proficiency in Hebrew and English, oral and written.
Demonstrated organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (both oral and written).
Ability to work with people of all ages and levels (students, professionals, and colleagues).
Must be willing to take initiative and assume responsibility, but also work collaboratively as part of a team.
Current driver's license required.
