His parents, Dale and Carol Lindsey, originally purchased Andy's Oil in 1959 in Seward, where they both were born.
Born out of a company they owned called Marathon Fuel Service, purchased in 1981 in Seward, Shoreside Petroleum's portfolio includes retail gas stations, products like residential heating fuel, and services such as bulk lube deliveries.
The company has expanded under the Petro Marine Services name since 1985, growing to be the largest Alaskan-owned petroleum distributorship in the state.
Shoreside Petroleum was established in 1986 in Seward, Alaska by Kurt and Diana Lindsey.
Established in 2005, the Anchorage terminal serves virtually every industry segment in the Anchorage market with a full line of fuels, lubricants and other petroleum-related products.
Our Cordova terminal was established in 2007 and serves a large commercial fishing fleet, fish processors, power generation plants, and the construction industry.
Established in 2013, the Wasilla terminal consists of an Essential One cardlock and retail gas station, along with a well-stocked warehouse that supports sales to all industry segments in the Mat-Su Valley and the interior rail belt.
In 2019, it celebrated its 60th year in business.
