Job Overview Shriners Children's is looking for a board-certified/eligible Pediatric Radiologist to join our team at Shriners Children's Chicago. This position requires successful fellowship training in pediatric radiology. The successful candidate will be responsible for reading STAT and routine pediatric cases from both our inpatient and outpatient services. This position entails a 1.0 FTE commitment with a M-F, 8:00am to 5:00pm schedule and the opportunity to provide services. Compensation ranges from $394,613 to $668,520 depending on experience and departmental equity. Responsibilities * Provide radiology services by reading and interpreting pediatric x-ray, ultrasound, CT, and dexa imaging in a timely manner. Average read volume is approximately 45 reads per day. * Communicate the results and diagnosis to physician * Directing radiology staff to perform diagnostic procedures on patients, as per physician orders * Work exclusively in pediatric imaging with no responsibilities. This is not an all-inclusive list of this job's responsibilities. The incumbent may be required to perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned. Qualifications * Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school required. * Successful completion of a residency in diagnostic or general radiology required. * Board eligible or certified in Diagnostic Radiology with additional fellowship training in Pediatric Radiology required. This is full-time non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator faculty level position. The successful applicant will have Duties include: 1) conducting screenings, consultations, and evidence-based neuropsychological evaluations of children and adolescents with medical, psychiatric, and neurodevelopmental disorders 2) teaching in multidisciplinary child health and mental health training programs 3) engagement in research or other scholarly activities Qualified candidates will have obtained a PhD from a clinical psychology training program and completed an APA-approved internship specializing in clinical child or pediatric psychology. The individual will also have completed a fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology and be board certified or eligible for board certification in clinical neuropsychology. Experience with children/adolescents with endocrine and genetic disorders is preferred; experience with other medical populations is highly desirable. Spanish fluency is also highly desirable. K.S.A.'s: Minimum education required to perform job: a doctoral degree in clinical psychology with appropriate internship and a two-year post-doctoral fellowship in clinical child neuropsychology. If degree is in a related area (e.g., human development) must have completed APA approved internship. Required licensure and/or certification: Must be licensed in the State of Illinois prior to start date. Cleans and sterilizes (when applicable) all equipment used for exercise testing. Generates patient billing by completing required forms and sending appropriate information to billing department. Of the 75% travel estimated 50% would be overnight. This position will support our Central Region, which includes facilities in Chicago, Dayton, Shreveport, St. Louis, Galveston and Twin Cities. Candidates may be based anywhere within this region. Responsibilities * Leads and supervises the Physician Liaison team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance oversight. * Develops and executes Physician Liaison monitoring of productivity and effectiveness. * Oversees CRM utilization in accordance with developed standards and ensures accurate tracking of referral activity and provider engagement. * Develop and implement continuing education opportunities that allow the Physician Liaison team the opportunity to routinely participate in skill building activities. * Routinely conduct field ride-a-longs with Physician Liaison team to evaluate performance and provide coaching support. * Develops and implements strategic outreach plans to grow and retain referral relationships. * Analyzes referral data, market trends, and competitive intelligence to inform strategy and identify growth opportunities. * Collaborate with Marketing & Communications and corporate teams to align outreach strategies with broader system wide initiatives. * Evaluates site capacity and operational readiness for growth and incorporates findings into outreach strategies. * Collaborate with Marketing & Communications on the development of provider facing collateral materials. * Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with patient access, medical staff, and other departments to improve referral processes. * Serves as the primary point of contact between the Physician Liaison team and local site stakeholders and Boards of Governors. * Develops and presents regular performance reports for corporate leadership. * Supervises the process between referring providers and Shriners Children's clinical teams to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution. * Identifies barriers and engages with necessary stakeholders optimize the referral loop process and contributes to process improvement initiatives. * Supervises the process for record keeping of referring physician complaints/issues and works with appropriate staff/departments to ensure corrective action is taken. Qualifications Required: * Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field * 5+ years experience in healthcare sales, marketing, or physician relations
